Hotel is overall 3-4 star. Our room is a standard sea view which has a nice view of the Mosque & Hagia Sophia. Very nice location in the heart of everything you need Less than 5 min walk to Metro. They can improve the breakfast. Fried Eggs are very toasted and very dry. Our bathroom has a smell. Kinda like a sewer smell.

Great Stay at Arcadia Blue Hotel Perfect location—walking distance to historical sites but in a quiet area. Very clean, friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast served in a rooftop restaurant with an amazing view of the historic mosques. Highly recommend

We could not go because flight issue and this hotels did even half of the hotel room charge. We feel very sad very bad hotel management. Very cheap hotel.

Very pleased with this hotel, was in a great location within walking distance of all the main sightseeing areas in the old town. Also walking distance to the tram station and a further 20 minute walk to Eminonu - from where you can take the ferry . The room was nice with a separate space for keeping bags and with an inbuilt safe. The front desk was very helpful . Bell boys were very helpful in showing us the right train station and how to go about it. Complimentary breakfast was an absolute delight with wonderful menu options and being on the rooftop had a good view of the city

Receptionist is more concerned about what they can sell you instead of giving us the orientation about the hotel when we got in . Bellman offered us a better deal when he walked us in the room which is a little turn off

The Hotel Arcadia is ideally located in the center of the old Istanbul. Most of the touristic attractions are nearby which is great given that we like to walk to take the “pulse” of the cities and places we visit. However, the room that we were assigned upon checking in was far below par. (Room 201) A bad smell that resembles the smell of a sewer was present and the room/furniture was dirty. Some light bulbs were burnt out and there was issues with some of the light switches that were not functioning. To top it all, the heating/ventilation system was defective (too hot and too cold at times) not mentioning the presence of mould in the shower area and a floor that was in need of tender loving care. After complaining about all this for three days, we were finally a “normal, functioning and clean” room. (When we reserved our room at the Arcadia Blue, the room we chose was said to be a “Deluxe” room.). The new room was ok but certainly not what we were expecting from a great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. That’s probably the best attribute of this centrally located hotel. The breakfast were excellent as well with a good variety to choose from. All in all, we would recommend the Arcadia Blue to other travellers but be aware of the deficiencies that we have highlighted in this review. The owner(s) of this hotel need(s) to invest some money in the infrastructure of this hotel. Tourism is a lucrative industry in Turkey and the tourists ate important.

I had a great stay here, comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast was amazing at the rooftop restaurant with stunning views of the landscape and landmarks. Definitely recommend this hotel. Staff were always happy to help

Great Istanbul Hotel

All around great experience at Hotel Arcadia Blue. The standard room with a little extra cost for a good view was well worth it: amazing sights right out the room window. One lamp in the room flickered and did not seem safe to use. The plastic safety cover on the TV was dirty and scratched making television not fun to watch, but who is in Istanbul for that? Very helpful and friendly staff from start to finish. Breakfast is not buffet, but it is on the top floor with the incredible views and is excellent, if you include it, you just order from a menu and it is all included. There is a treadmill in the basement for cold days along with some weights and a spa. Walking distance to the Grand Bazaar and easy tram trips all over the place from just steps away. Quiet hotel, all needs met immediately. Good thermostat control in the room. Will stay again for sure! Thank you, everyone at hotel Arcadia Blue.
