Easy check-in with friendly staff who made me feel like I was at home away from home. The breakfast had a pretty good assortment of options, and they will cook to customize if asked. It was very close to many of the popular attractions. Most were walking distance and one was a quick tram ride. The hotel is about 40 mins from the airport and longer if rush hour but once you arrive at this hotel you will be glad because this location is so safe and walkable! The hotel also, gave a clean boutique vibe.

This is one of the great stay we ever had in Istanbul! The room was spacious, the view from the family suit and roof-top breakfast area was just awesome. All the people were very courteous and helpful. We would love to go back and stay longer at this beautiful place which is so close to restaurants and great attractions like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazar and Topkapi palace. All are walking distances.

Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Although the views from most rooms are not great, the breakfast area with a balcony on the fourth floor has gorgeous views of the water and surrounding area, which is lovely to sit out on in the evening or anytime. Service by staff was outstanding! The owner graciously offered to bring our large suitcases to the Gate1 hotel when we could not easily find a large taxi. Hotel location is centrally located for walking to everything.
