Location: 10/10 Cleanliness: 10/10 Warm-friendly staff: 10/10 Breakfast: 10/10 -------------------- This is located in the center of touristic attractions, close to the main metro/subway centre, shopping districts, great food places, yet it is in an alley where it is quiet. The windows are double-paned so no noise from outside is heard inside. It is within 5 minutes walk of the beach, 2 minutes of Yenikapi Metro hub, 5 minutes to the tramwa to the Grand Bazar and Sultan Ahmet district and all the sea-bus and ferry stations. The staff are exceptionally friendly and warm. The breakfast is superb. ----------------------------- We asked for a non-smoking room and they graciously gave us a room that absolutely did not smell cigar- we are really grateful. --------------------------- Thank you everyone at Orient Mintur. We will definitely come back.

It's a very bad experience. Dangerous neighborhood. Pillows, sheets and room are very very dirty. The staff is rude and mean. When you ask a question, they don't always respond. Even when they do, they don't give you a straight answer.

Low quality

Located in a tiny street so getting on/off a car will be a headache Because of that most of transfers will stop a little further and if you have luggage you should pull them with you on the street. Check in experience wasn’t good and I mentioned it before (check in survey). Night shift reception would do nothing and wanted you to ask morning staff. Even one time I asked for some ice, he told me “go out and buy from super market “ !!!!! It was noisy all the time from people working there or even people smoking at the front door . Room AC was horrible, functioning wrong or sometimes it was not working at all. We were lucky that the weather was good enough to leave the windows open for getting some fresh air but at the same time street noise and cigarette smokes coming to the room was a big headache. The only good point about this place was breakfast service and the gentleman working there was always perfect doing his job, respectful and kind. Btw, it’s not a 4 star hotel as it shows on the app. By their own standard it’s a 3 star as printed every where. Never stay there again.
