Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Seahawk Fukoaka. It was a bit of a distance from Hakata Station but the bus ride is about 20 minutes and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The PayPay Dome is literally next door so extremely convenient if you have tickets for an event there. The Markis Shopping Mall is also right next door to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a very wide variety of choices which should satisfy all tastes. A special shout out to Chris at the breakfast buffet who ensured we were well taken care of. All the hotel staff were extremely polite, respectful and helpful. Our room was very nice and spacious with wonderful views of the city, the beach, the PayPay Dome and surrounding areas. My only complaint is guests are charged 2,200 Yen to use the indoor swimming pool and sauna amenities. I believe this is a one time fee. I have never been to a hotel before where a fee is charged to use the pool. This seems like a cash grab especially considering the nightly rate we paid.
