Good hotel rude staff

The hotel room was good. Clean and comfortable. My 2 issues were they charged me $10 a day to park at the hotel. We stay in dozens of hotels every year and I have never seen that. I already paid $190 for the room why should you have to pay to park where your staying? Makes no sense! Also the young lady who checked me in was nice but the lady that was at the front when we left was so rude. When checking in I told the nice young woman that we had to leave early the next morning so we wouldn’t be able to get breakfast. She proceeded to tell me to make sure we grabbed a muffin or fruit or something before we left since it wouldn’t be breakfast time yet. Well the next morning we were doing just that and the rude lady at the front desk proceeded to act like a child over a muffin and closed the curtains and was all in a tantrum because we simply grabbed a few packaged muffins to go. I’m sorry but if you can’t let the guest grab a packaged muffin that has nothing to do with your cooked breakfast after said guest paid $200 to stay including the silly parking charge then that is so rediclous. I personally will never stay at this location again because of the way that particular woman acted. It took everything I had in me to walk away instead of saying what I wanted to. Her attitude just really disgusted me and it ruined the whole stay. Home2s are my favorite hotel but I am so disappointed in this one’s staff. Learn to treat your guests with respect. After all it’s us who pay!

We were clearly an inconvenience to the young lady who checked us in that evening. I understand, it was late for her to finally be getting to eat supper, just could have been handled differently. The bathroom shower had mildew and is in need of a refresh. A different young lady was working the desk the next morning and was very nice and helpful.

Location near airport was good. I stayed at this property back in November. This stay I was charged for parking, therefore I will not return. When I checked in I was not offered or issued bottled water as a HJilton Honors member. The front desk advised that they were out of bottled water.

The hotel itself was satisfactory; however, I was disappointed with a key aspect of my stay. I chose this hotel specifically because it advertised free self-parking. Despite making my reservation within the same week as our visit, upon check-in, the front desk clerk informed us that they had "just started charging for parking." While the fee was relatively small, it was not what I had agreed to when booking. Unfortunately, there was little I could do at that point. Moving forward, the hotel should ensure that such policy changes are clearly communicated to guests prior to making reservations.
