The Villas of Amelia Island offers 350 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies. The main hotel is beautiful however the black mold in the condo we rented nearly sent my kid to the ER. The management was incredibly helpful but I’d like to see these units be inspected a few times a year as they represent Omni. The only other complaint is it’s near impossible to get a spot at the pool. There needs to be rules like Beaches. If someone isn’t there you can’t reserve a bunch of chairs. It’s not right or fair. I’d also say do away with the charges for beach chairs. Unnecessary and the resort makes enough as is. Other than that - the staff make the place overall an amazing experience

Couples getaway

The resort was wonderful. We stayed in the Tennis Villas which were probably at the cheapest price point however the room was very nice. There was a pool at the villlas. The big winner for me was the pools at the main hotel. There were a lot of seating with umbrellas. There were waiters walking around taking food and drink orders. The hamburger was the best I've had in a while. We had breakfast at one of the on site restaurants but the food wasn't what we expected. It was more pastry and breakfast sandwiches. If you want actual breakfast go off property about 10 minutes to the a place called the Beach Diner. Overall we enjoyed relaxing at this resort. It is a little spendy.

First time visiting and except for some miss communication on amenities we had a great time - staff was wonderful especially Kelly and Deborah in the main lobby bar - Julio at the adult pool was awesome and the waiter at Oceanside for diner was exceptional - we can’t wait to go back

Overall nice stay

Overall, the stay was very good with a spacious, well appointed unit. However, a couple of items were in disrepair. The upper deck door did not lock properly. It was fixed once but we could not get it locked again and that was an uncomfortable feeling. The outside walls needed to be pressured washed as there was green mildew/algae on the walls, the shower had a thick layer of soap scum and the downstairs wall had either bugs or termites at the crevices. It was otherwise a comfortable unit but the door especially was a bummer. Also, it would be nice at check in if they explained the beach towels for the villa is at the towel stand on the beach where rentable items are located as well. The overall Omni resort land was sprawling with nice amenities.

Did not get the villa I booked, no cooking area or even a microwave, lost food due to this. No area to buy a cold drink near villa. Dirty room, handprints on ceiling and walls, hair in bathroom, floor dirty, balcony furniture dirty, dresser full of handprints and scum. Not enough towels. No room service to villa. Very loud family next door disrupted our sleep. Given wrong directions by front desk staff, ended up back outside the property and had to wait in line again for over 20 minutes to gain reentry. Hard to communicate with front desk staff and did not receive check out email, had to call front desk. Very disappointed as this was a birthday gift that was ruined.

Clean room, quiet building. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice selection of restaurants on property, with transportation provided. Recommend booking beach chairs/umbrellas in advance. That was the only surprise- ended up having to rent from local private company.

Everything was lovely except the cigarette smokers somewhere near our condo made sitting on the patio difficult and cigarette smoke coming into the bedroom. I would definitely make this a smoke free property.
