Had a wonderful time, the hotel is beautiful and newly updated. The pool is so nice and the beach front was always clean! The restaurant and coffee bar were also great additions! No complaints, we had a great time!

This was a lovely property right on the beach with a great coffee bar. The staff was friendly and the drinks were delicous but food and drinks were more like San Diego or LA prices. We enjoyed our stay.

Nice location. Was odd to have to pay for meals and beverages separately rather than do a room charge. Room s next to lobby are not as private. Can hear a lot of music and conversation from lobby. Showers in studio do not have towel racks or shelves to put soap or shavers. Limited dining menu. Beds were a bit firm and air conditioning blows right over the bed.

I have to say that this was a first class operation! Everyone from the front desk to the owner worked so ridiculously hard to make our stay fantastic. The food there was stupendous and the cocktails were amazing. I am from South Florida and it was a step above. The rooms were small, but they were tastefully decorated so it wasnt cramped feeling. My daughter and i were there for 3 days and it was a refreshing change. Beds were really comfortable! Also, Cocolito surf school was awesome. Ask for Ethan and tell him Christina sent you.

Hotel Lía was awesome! The hotel staff were very attentive, friendly, and hospitable. Communication was easy, this was a bilingual-friendly atmosphere. The hotel itself was very chic, clean, and inviting. Our room was the perfect size for a long-weekend getaway. The onsite restaurant and bar was delicious! We ate all different meals and did not have a problem with any, beautiful plating was especially nice! The drinks were delicious, fresh, and beautifully crafted. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to be back again!

Our stay at Hotel Lia was truly unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. Every detail, from the impeccable cleanliness to the exceptional hospitality, exceeded our expectations. The food was sensational, and we found ourselves looking forward to every meal. Special thanks to Sebastian, Christian, and Juana, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The concierge and front desk team were also fantastic, making our stay seamless. Hotel security was also involved, helping us with luggage, restaurant suggestions, and travel tips. Priscilla (the AM coffee attendant) was clutch to waking up early to get the day started. The hotel’s central location allowed us to easily explore nearby restaurants and shops—everything was just a short walk away. We genuinely can't think of a single negative aspect; it was that good! We’re already planning our return and can’t wait to recommend Hotel Lia to our friends and family.

Overall positive experience but all the small things add up with a lot to be desired Room: small, no clothes iron, no tvs, nightstands are tiny logs making there no place to put anything, shower doesnt have a shelf, no towel hook at sink, A/C worked great, bed sheets were absolutely terrible not soft at all, more like sleeping with parchment paper Pool: very nice, heated and mostly clean Pool Bar: not used! I'm accustomed to being served food/cocktails at the pool and this was not that experience. You can get a drink there if you flag somebody down to get a server to come back there but otherwise the pool is an unserved area Restaurant/Bar: Food was ok, food is better off premises. Specialty cocktails were fantastic. Don't expect service. What I mean is you have to ask to be served. There was only 1 of the the 5-6 servers who actually stops by to ask if you need anything. Even sitting at the bar the bartenders dont check on you. Coffee is great. No place to charge a phone outside your room. No outlets in any of the outdoor spaces and sitting areas. It wasn't terrible but I would not go back. I have to assume all the 5 star reviews on Google are friends of the owner, people just being nice, or people who have lower expectations than I do and mine are pretty low. I just expect clean rooms, functional rooms, and service. I feel bad even writing this review because the staff was so friendly and polite.

Best best and only the best place in Jaco !!!

Nice and very clean hotel, staff is really nice and welcoming , I book standard room when I saw that it was small room but the manager for very kind when I request them if they can upgrade room for me they did and they didn’t even charge me for that They all make sure that my stay in Hotel is more comfortable and nice Thanks to all stuff members for their kindness and for their best service I recommend this hotel to everyone !!! They deserve a 5 star rating !!! Good place for families !!!!
