Rio Copey 2 townhouse near the beach in Jaco

Two-story vacation rental townhouse in small, gated community with pool located in quiet cul-de-sac. Only a 5 minutes' walk to the main street in downtown Jacó and 8 to the beach. Walk or bike anywhere in town, or easily call a cheap cab if you need a longer ride.

This townhouse has 2 bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs, with corresponding bathrooms. The upstairs bedrooms have each Queen beds, air conditioning, ensuite bathroom with shower, TV, closet, dressers, and large balconies with seating. The balcony in the main bedroom has rocking chairs and views of the pool area and the green forested mountains as backdrop.

The bedroom downstairs has a nice wooden bunk bed (Full below and Twin above), floor fans and a bathroom with shower across the hallway. The bedroom downstairs can also be cooled with the living room air conditioning.

The living room has air conditioning, comfortable upholstered sofas, TV and a wooden dining table for 6 (larger than the one shown in pictures). Cable TV and free Wi-Fi are included. Outdoors on the terrace facing the pool there is an aluminum and glass table with four comfortable chairs and an umbrella, as well as a charcoal BBQ grill and two lounge chairs.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove/oven, air extractor, microwave, large fridge, and all utensils.

There is a covered garage for one car and there is free street parking around the cul-de-sac.

The community has a caretaker on the premises and dusk-to-dawn security.

The maximum occupancy is for up to six adults and children 3-17 years old, or three single adults. A maximum of two children under 3 years old do not count towards this total.

PET RULES:
Pets allowed: only one dog (25 kg maximum) of quiet nature, or two dogs that together do not sum up more than 25 kg. A $25 pet fee (plus VAT) per stay per dog will be requested on arrival. This pet fee does not cover damages caused by pet. Dog must not climb beds or furniture. Dog is not allowed at the community pool area and must be on a leash when walked outdoors. Owner must collect and dispose properly of all dog waste. The is out-of-bounds for dogs.

Real decent hideaway

The location is perfect seated near Central strip, but far enough back to clear the noise. The condo is clean and roomy enough for a family with amenities to match. All expenses were spared when selecting mattresses and bedding and you may want to wash everything first as the first rooms bedding seemed high in allergens (dust, mites) and the second contained insect caucuses when inspected. Fortunately, there is a washer dryer on site. You may also want to bring your own toilet paper. If you drink the tap water, you will need plenty and ultimately prefer a brand that does not expose your finger on the first pass.

We'd stay again

Our host Gabriel and Tito the maintenence guy were both helpful during our stay. The check in was easy, the place was clean and there's lots of room. Everything you need is there. There were a few things that we were in need of and Gabriel was very attentive and thoughtful in the process. And it's down a cul-de-sac, so it's quiet and yet so close to everything. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us😊
