I valued the fact that the staff was friendly and helpful. The internet connection worked well. The room was spacious, and the air-conditioning worked (just a bit too well - I couldn't change the setting). The major drawback was the thumping noise from music somewhere that kept going into the night, and sometimes prevented me from falling asleep. The neighbourhood is quite nice, there are many warungs and restaurants, and it's only a short walk away from the Indonesian cultural center TIM.
The statue of Ismail Marzuki, the musician and composer who gave his name to the Indonesian Cultural Centre.
Situ Lembang, a pond near Jalan Lembang, not that far away from Jalan Cikini
