Deer Haven Lodge is a custom Adirondack home with soaring ceilings, stone fireplace, two soaking tubs, 16 acres, commanding mountain views, outdoor firepit and trails.

We are just 1.5 miles from the Jay Covered Bridge, 15 minutes to Whiteface Mt. & less than 30 minutes to Lake Placid.

The perfect getaway for skiing, hiking or just rejuvenating in nature. Watch the deer wander through our backyard. The master suite is on the main level. First time ever offered as a vacation retreat!
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment. Natural Beauty

Beautiful place, peaceful surroundings, with great views. This property lives up to its name, "Deer Haven Lodge". Deer roam the grounds freely. The house is cozy, well maintained and organized, and has beautiful decor. The owner provided necessary information, and we were able to communicate with her throughout our stay. We had a great time. Thank you!

Celebrating our 65th birthdays with college friends!

We stayed at the Deer Haven Lodge and it was perfect! Very clean, spacious, and the view of the mountains is amazing. Air-conditioning was definitely a plus! The front porch allowed for lots of conversation and listening/playing guitar. It was about a 30 minute drive to Lake Placid but was great to come back to the tranquility of this property. There is a fire pit, grill and seating area in the backyard and plenty of animals to watch and enjoy I would totally recommend Deer Haven if you are looking for a true getaway while still having all the amenities of home!

Deer Haven Lodge

The stay at Deer Haven Lodge was fantastic, the property is advertised accurately. The only hiccup was during check-in, I did not receive a message with the lock box code or instructions for check-in, but Shannon was available for a call to sort the issue out quickly. This was only slightly challenging as cell service was spotty at the property so I had to drive to another location for service to make the call.

We had a great time at the house! Lots of attractions and activities near by and also great space for families! House was as described and there is sooo much land! We brought our pup and she had a blast running around. Also we saw some cool wildlife during our stay which was a plus!

Holiday Winter Trip

House was exactly as shown in photos and LOVED that it was decorated for Christmas! Well stocked kitchen and plenty of firework for the indoor fireplace. About 20-30 minutes away from Lake Placid/Whiteface which we went to everyday for all the winter activities - skiing, skeleton rides, watching high jump practice and Olympic Center for college hockey game. Beautiful home and property. Great family trip to ring in 2024!

Deer haven

We had a great stay , house was clean and well stacked kitchen . We enjoyed watching deer in the morning also beautiful views of the mountains. We enjoyed fireplace, after watching ski jumps at Lake Placid . Good location to some attractions like high gorge falls and whiteface mountain ski resort and ski jump. Overall great experience.
