Paddlewhack Cabin 4-The Gunwhale

*NEW* Paddlewhacks is a group of 5 cabins nestled along the Big Cypress Bayou towards Caddo Lake. We are right on the water yet a one minute drive into Downtown Jefferson. It is the best of both worlds-unique shopping and restaurants with immediate access to canoeing and fishing. Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, open concept living/dining areas, small kitchen, and a front patio. Every cabin comes with a canoe, paddles, life jackets, and access to our group firepit and private kayak ramp.

Paddlewhacks is located on 10 acres in Jefferson, Texas.

Please contact us directly if you would like to rent our whole facility for an event. It would include five cabins that sleep a total of 28 with a Bunkhouse coming soon.

The cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. Although we didn’t utilize the canoes, we enjoyed relaxing on the porch while looking at the river. We were only a short drive to the super cute downtown area, where we enjoyed walking around and shopping.

Very nice place to stay!

The cabin was so clean and inviting! We chose this cabin because it had two bedrooms with King size beds. The mattresses were very comfortable. The room my husband and I stayed in had a wonderful storage piece so we could hang our clothes and unpack our suitcase and place all our items so we didn’t have to keep getting into our suitcase. We also wanted a kitchen where we could have a refrigerator to store beverages to keep cool and for various snack. The cabin has a nice balcony that looks on the River. We were fortunate to stay the weekend in May that was a little cool. We so enjoyed the porch! We will definitely stay here again!
