Grace Guesthouse and Tour is 40 years old property that has been friendly to past and current owners, families, friend and guests. The current owner wants to continue with the tradition of welcoming families, friends and guests. You are more than welcome.
Located 12 minutes away from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, Grace Guesthouse and Tour is your entry and transit place to South Africa and Southern Africa. You are, therefore, welcome to stay at Grace Guesthouse and Tour in your next visit to, or passage through Johannesburg. From Grace Guesthouse and Tour you can then visit Pretoria, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Nelspruit, Harare, Lusaka, Maputo, Windhoek, Mbabane, Maseru, Gaborone, Luanda and Dar Es Salaam. We are also ready to host you in our guesthouse as you transit from Mozambique, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Swaziland, Lesotho, Madagascar, Angola and Tanzania to the world via OR Tambo International Airport.
The guesthouse property seats on 1450 square meter of land, three quarter of which is occupied by garden, swimming pool, braai and parking areas. The main house hosts 6 of the 8 rooms of the Grace Guesthouse and Tour, of which five rooms overlook the swimming pool and garden. These five rooms, which are 30 meters away from the road, are in a very tranquil area of the guesthouse. The other remaining two rooms are two flats with self-catering conditions in a separated infrastructure. Al rooms have TV with DSTV channels, wireless access to internet, and facilities to make tea and coffee. Each room has a working table and chairs, and private bathroom.
Grace Guesthouse and Tour will also offer you transfer, meals, laundry and tour services. Once at Grace Guesthouse and Tour, our experienced guest care officers will take of you. They will treat you just like the sister, brother, mother, father, son, daughter, friend or guest of the owner. Grace Guesthouse and Tour begins the journey with its guests at the airport. Feel free to advise us in anticipation to collect you at the airport. Likewise, Grace Guesthouse and Tour will take you to the airport once you decide to return home.
You will always feel like you are still at home as we serve you our warm breakfast every morning. Guest care officers will prepare lunch or dinner on your request. We have a happy hour once a week when we bring together family, friends and guests visiting us. For extra needs, Grace Guesthouse and Tour is within 0.6 of four shopping centres, the Cavendish Glen, the Glen Acres, Woodbridge and Pick’n Pay shopping centres where you can find almost everything you need.
We offer more than just a guesthouse service. We can organize a shopping tour to some of South African largest malls in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Sandton or Soweto. We can also take you to visit some iconic and historic places. You won’t forgive me if I do not promise to organize you a visit to Mandela’s houses in Soweto to feel the pain of struggle and the glory of the end of apartheid. I felt these two feelings at the same time when I visited Mandela’s house two years ago. I cried and laughed with joy at the same time. It was a strange feeling but this what you get when you want to connect with Nelson Mandela. You just need to tell us in advance to organize your visit to historic and iconic places in Soweto, Pretoria and Johannesburg.
I will be sinning if I do not promise to organize you a wildlife tour at Kruger National Park, Pilanesberg National Park or other wildlife reserve close to Johannesburg. These are the largest park in the African continent. People back home won’t believe that you were in South Africa and that you did not see the big five of the wild. Just tell us in advance, we will organize a wild life tour for you.
