DO NOT GO THERE. Moldy room that hadn’t been cleaned - dust and black hair and dead bugs in all corners and on the bed that had spots. Staff doesn’t speak English and isn’t around. My taxi driver sent me a message saying that he was worried about me when he dropped me off. Location is terrible, far away from everything. Only place during my one year Asia trip that I didn’t feel safe. Had to leave the property after 15 hours as the air quality in the room was terrible. Neither the hotel or hotels.com has offered me a refund, so DON’T BOOK THIS GHOST RUIN OF A PLACE. There are so many better and cheaper options in Kandy.

Top ervaring in Kandy

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, bagage werd voor ons naar boven gebracht en we kregen informatie over ontbijt en diner opties. Omdat we nog een bezoek aan de tempel of tooth wilde brengen werd meteen een tuktuk geregeld. Nala, de eigenaar, kon ons ook voor een heel redelijk bedrag de volgende ochtend met zijn auto naar ons volgende verblijf brengen. Na een goede nacht in de rustige buurt hadden we een lekker ontbijt op het dakterras met mooi uitzicht over het meer en de bergen. Tijdens de rit naar ons volgende verblijf bleek hij naast een uitstekende chauffeur een prima tour guide te zijn die ons bij een aantal bezienswaardigheden de nodige uitleg kon geven.

The staff was fantastic and they are very good at making sure you have a good stay in kandy. They also recommended a fantastic tuk tuk driver called Krishan. Over alle a vary good place to stay

Peaceful area and a great view from terrace and roof terrace. Service of a high standard! For all kind of questions about activities you can ask the friendly owner who worked as a tour guide before. Breakfast is great on a fair price.
