George’s Cabin is a serene retreat just 5 minutes from Kangaroo Valley Village, offering scenic views, lots of wildlife (Kangaroos and Wombats), sun-filled north-facing living, and wraparound terraces for effortless indoor–outdoor entertaining. Enjoy Starlink internet, a modern chef’s kitchen, vibrant Australian art, spacious lounges with a 75" LG TV, BBQ & outdoor entertaining and access to a shared tennis court and shared pool (not heated), perfect for friends, or groups up to eight.

A great place for fun with friends or a private couple’s getaway, George's Cabin is located within 5 minutes easy drive from Kangaroo Valley Village but away from the hustle and bustle of village life. Wake up with kangaroos and wombats on your doorstep.
Facing north with a wraparound terrace, the property is beautifully sunny in Winter and cool in Summer. Every room has either a split system air-conditioning (and a ducted system in the upstairs bedroom). The home is filled with beautiful original aboriginal artwork as well as emerging Australian artists.
The home comes with Starlink satellite internet with up to 300 MPS internet download speeds, perfect for anyone needing to work whilst on holiday, or for larger groups that wish to stream their favourite movies.
The living room is complete with two 3 seater sofas (one is a sofa bed for groups of 8), a LG 75" Nanocell Smart TV, and two occasional chairs. Perfect for indoor entertaining.
The outside terraces comes with a 6 seater lounge space, an 8 seater dining table and a 6 seater dining table, perfect for entertaining. There is a 4 burner BBQ for guests wanting cook up a storm.
Our bedding configuration is as follows:
- Bedroom One (upstairs master): 1x King Bed (can be split into two singles, please notify us if you would like this)
- Bedroom Two: 1x King Bed (can be split into two singles, please notify us if you would like this)
- Bedroom Three: 1x King Bed (can be split into two singles, please notify us if you would like this)
- Living Room: One Queen Size Sofa Bed
Please note, all the bedrooms are set up as King beds as standard, however, we can make any number of the bedrooms into singles with prior notice. The sofa bed can only be set up as a Queen Bed and can limit living room space.
The large modern kitchen is well kitted out and is perfect for 8 guests to host a dinner party. We have a large dining table inside that can seat 8, two outdoor tables (one seats 8, another seats 6). In the morning wake up to freshly made coffee at the press of a button with our Breville Nespresso Machine, and enjoy making breakfast with our high end Kitchenaid appliances.
There’s a shared tennis court if you’d like to bring racquets, and a pool as well, though it’s not heated.

ADDITIONAL RULES
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.
*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay.
*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is EIGHT people, however, we do allow day visitors of up to FOUR people. No more than a maximum of TWELVE people are allowed in the property at any given time.
*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.
*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.
*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.
*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.
*Pets - We are a pet-friendly property. However we only allow pets weighing up to 10kg. We ask all our guests to contact us for approval of pets before booking and include your request in the reservation form as there is a pet fee of $110 per stay to cover the cost of extra cleaning and disinfection. Please follow the rules below when bringing pets:
- Pets are not permitted on any furniture or beds.
- Pets must be on a leash at all times outdoors and are strictly not allowed on the golf course. There is a lot of protected wildlife in the are for everyone’s enjoyment, so this is for their safety and yours. Our property is also not fully fenced.
- If the resort receives a complaint about off-leash pets, a fine may apply and you may be asked to leave the resort.
*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.
*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.
THINGS TO KNOW:
* This property is suitable for babies or children and we provide a travel cot and high chair, however we do not provide the linen.
