Getawayz NSW - 'Banksia' Designer Tiny Home w/ stunning dam views

Banksia is set on a working chicken farm in the heart of Kangaroo Valley, NSW. The tiny home is architecturally designed featuring an outdoor bath that makes you feel like you are floating out to the dam. The home is full of natural light, is sustainably built and is the perfect escape from city life.

We highly recommend sipping on some wine in the evening, overlooking the dam and watching the sunset with the beautiful mountain scenery, all complete in this gorgeous escape.

We are a company that does a lot of travelling so our best means of contact would be either through the app or please email us and my Team will respond as soon as possible!

HOUSE RULES:
*Check-in: After 3:00 pm
*Checkout: 10:00 am
*Not suitable for children and infants
*No smoking allowed
*No parties or events
*Pets are allowed (special requirements are in place for this. Please refer to the additional rules below)

ADDITIONAL RULES:
*As per the Short Term Legislation Act 2020 NSW, all guests are required to obey these rules. For extra guests/day visitors, we must be informed for liability purposes.

*In compliance with applicable legislation, we are required to enter a Short Term Rental Agreement with Guests upon booking. We are also transitioning from collecting a Security Deposit and will now be using a Pre-Authority form to hold as a form of security for your stay.

*This is a no-party property. We do not allow parties/events of any sort. The maximum amount of guests allowed to sleep in this property is TWO people. If you would like to have day visitors, please reach out to us first for approval.

*Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission.

*This home is a strictly no-smoking property. If any of our cleaners find any form of cigarette ash, butts or smell cigarettes in the apartment, we could issue a $500 fine.

*This is a domestic residence and we love our neighbours. We do not allow loitering or loud noise outside of the premises or inside of the premises. We ask for minimal noise especially after 9 pm.

*STRA Rules - By booking this home you automatically agree to all the STRA terms and conditions that are applicable to guests. You also agree that if you do break any of the house rules you will be asked to leave and no refund of the unused nightly rates will be returned.

*Check-in/Check-out - We cannot stress enough the importance of checking out on time. Our regular check-in time is after 3 pm and check-out time is before to 10 am. If you wish to have an earlier check-in or later check-out, please reach out to us first. Please note, there may be a charge.

* Pets - We are a pet-friendly property. We ask all our guests to contact us for approval of pets before booking and include your request in the reservation form as there is a pet fee of $75 per stay to cover the cost of extra cleaning and disinfection. Please do not allow your pets to go on the furniture.

*All pets need to be kept on a leash at all times when outside. There is no fence on the property around the cottage and wildlife is common around the area that may wander onto the property, including other dogs.

*Changing of Dates Terms & Conditions
- Requests to change booking dates may only be accommodated if check-in is more than 1 month away.
- This is subject to approval and we reserve the right to decline any requests.
- Please note that there may be a surcharge to change the dates.
- Any changes to bookings are subject to approval and we ask all guests to reach out to us first.

THINGS TO KNOW:

*Checkin details will be sent either the night before checking in, or the morning of check-in for security reasons.

*Due to the recent reports of Foot and Mouth Disease, we ask all international guests to follow the Biosecurity Rules of the Government. This is usually indicated on your Visa details as part of the requirements. We love our farm animals and try to look after them as much as possible!

* We only provide 1 set of keys for each stay. We do not have extra sets.

*Window blinds are installed that you can utilise for your privacy.

Beautiful spot!

We had great time, made lots of fun and lovely memories. It was nice that the place is pet friendly. All the views were amazing, especially night time with all the stars in the sky and reflection on the lake. Thank you so much for complimentary wine and some snacks. We enjoyed toasting marshmallows while soaking up the warmth from the fire pit. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Picturesque mini cabin getaway

A very cute cabin overhanging the water. Close enough to town and beautiful scenery. The cabin was comfy and well finished, and the extra outdoor tub and shower were a romantic feature. Thanks for having us, would definitely recommend for a couples getaway.
