My room was on the 7th floor. It was very quiet, despite the hotel being full (Saturday night before the Chiefs game the following day). Check-in was very easy, and staff was friendly.
After booking, I went back and thoroughly read all the horror comments about the hotel’s aging amenities and lack of cleanliness, so I was expecting the worst.
To be honest, it was a great night’s stay. The bed was very comfy and clean, as was the shower, sink, and toilet. The shower was pretty amazing, although the handle to adjust the temp needs replaced because it was very hard to turn, but I managed to adjust it.
There was no tv remote that I could find, which wasn’t a big deal because I had my iPad to watch a show on before going to sleep.
For a Saturday night stay, I paid around $300. I thought that was a little pricey given the aging amenities, but what hotel in and around KC isn’t expensive on a Saturday.
Overall, it was nice and I was pleased. But as others say, there is room for improvement.
