Having not been to the Argosy in a while I was amazed at the decline in the property. Didn't look like they have done much in the line of keeping it looking nice. Looks like it hasn't been maintained very well. Overall look was worn and used. Probably will not go back until they do major renovations. Also, the casino layout was confusing and hard to get around. Late night food was also a problem unless you wanted a Hot Dog from the cart. My wife and I had to leave the property and go to a restaurant to eat after Midnight. Most casinos we go to at least have a late-night snack bar. Overall experience was below average.

Easy check-in. The staff are friendly, efficient, and go the extra mile to assist you. The room wasnt as clean as it should be (sticky floors, burn marks on furniture in non smoking room). The neighbors were smoking w*ed which made our room smell like skunk the entire night.

Lobby and first floor hotel hallway were filthy, looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in many days. Also, they don’t do any house cleaning of rooms if they are occupied. If you want the room cleaned before check out, you have to request it, same with fresh towels. Also, the room wasn’t cleaned well. Definitely won’t stay there again.

Spa closed and dirty rooms

Toilet had urine on the outside of it. Vent had a years worth of dust. Chairs had stains cause they hadn't been wiped down. Lack of attention to detail. I choose this place for the gym and spa not the casino. Spa was closed and the place was dirty so I wouldn't book again or recommend.

We stayed at this property because it had good reviews and the pictures looked nice. However, the pictures are extremely outdated (or edited, I’m not sure). Our shower drain was clogged on arrival, maintenance came hours later. The hot/cold dial wouldn’t work in the shower so it was so hot you couldn’t even shower. There was fingerprints all over everything. I was super disappointed with this casino/hotel. The only item that was good in the room was the mattress.

Overall the stay was great. The king size room had a lot of room, the bathroom was not quite clean, the hotel had maintenance issues in the mess of showering. We had a great time. Your in walking distance to the casino.

Staff was great, places to eat were inconsistent with times open- very limited- comfortable, overall clean, amenities were a struggle asked for a blanket, did not have any more to provide. Did have an area stocked with water , but inconsistent on the refill - it was quiet, the casino was nice, clean, lots of machines - overall a good place just wish restraints had better hours
