Some parts of the property was being renovated and it left the entire property a mess. Dirt and drywall all over the floors. The construction staff was also very unprofessional and extremely loud. I tried to do a conference call in my room and other participants could clearly hear the loud music, singing, and yelling done by the construction crew down the hall. It’s within close proximity to my destination of the federal reserve bank but I will gladly commute longer to avoid staying here again

Highly recommended

My wife was having surgery at University Health Truman Medical and this hotel was close. Parking lot was safe. Yes you do pay to park but for the safety aspect its worth it! Lots of breakfast items! Nice hotel, room was spacious and clean!

The location is excellent. Near lots of attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially LaTosha at the front desk. Our first room was not up to par and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. LaTosha found us a different room and made sure it was right. The breakfast was excellent.

I stayed one night so I could sleep since I had been staying with my child at Children’s Mercy (3 hrs from home) I wasn’t sleeping well since it’s a busy hospital which is to be expected. So I booked a room nearby at a Marriott hotel because I always chose these and have positive experiences. I had multiple issues here and when I tried to address the issues I was not treated respectfully or contacted back multiple attempts were made on my part. The room was muggy and musty (took awhile to cool it down) no towels, soap or shampoo. I didn’t make an issue of it since I just needed peace and to sleep. But then it was very noisy outside, noisy guests in the hall the front desk not dealing with the constant running, screaming, knocking from this family. The ice machine is right by the rooms and very loud all night, the laundry room is close too and was being operated from very very early on and constantly from staff.The breakfast wasn’t refilled and i went early. I politely informed the worker and she ignored me then didn’t look at me and said ok but never refilled it. I told her no rush I just wanted her to know. I came back later and it still wasn’t refilled. I wanted to be able to sleep, have a shower, peace, and a hot breakfast since we’d been in a hospital during a scary situation with my very ill daughter. Upon checkout I let the clerk know and she didn’t act like she cared. Shady place, managers, workers. No one has called back and Expedia agent tried and failed.

The only issue was the parking. It says “Free” but it actually costs $20 for guests to park in the lot. Then, it was full when we arrived so we ended up having to park on the street.

I was happy with the staff breakfast and cleanliness but the room I was expecting and had reservations for was not available no comps different room not as large as the one I reserved also no mention of extra money for hold??was not happy about that at all 😐

Hopefully this property is going to be updated soon - there were several boxes of toilets in the parking lot, so that’s a good sign. Our room was in the “annex” building so we had to go outside from main hotel and cross a walkway. Our room was right near the annex’s outer door and it opened and closed very loudly. All night long we were woken up when the door opened.

NEEDS TO BE REMOLDED FOR PRICE WE ARE PAYING.

Hotel needs to be remodeled. First room 330 had black mold. Changed to room 201 Wall tile from bathroom falling apart , mold in bathroom ceiling , room smelled moisty , wall by ac unit has big hole. Bes were stained. Breakfast was good.
