I unfortunately got very sick and was throwing up all night during our stay, my husband was in a wedding the following evening and instead of shopping around town all day like I had planned, all I wanted to do was lay in bed and recover before the wedding. I was hoping to pay for a late check out and I was met with very little compassion when telling the front desk lady my situation. She told me I was unable to pay for late check out at 2 pm due to the hotel being full the following night. I understand, but there was not sympathy or willingness to help make something work especially when I had no where to go for 7 hours before the wedding.

This property is absolutely beautiful! I loved that there’s a walking trail right across to street. Construction is going on right across the street but it doesn’t cause any disturbance. My overall stay was great! The negative..the front desk receptionist(woman) had a bit of an attitude when interacting with her. Also, the waitress in the restaurant wasn’t as sanitize when dealing with handling food. I watched her walk out water to one of the guests dog, give it water and give it several rubs, walk back into the restaurant from the patio band did not wash her hands after touching things within the bar area.

Such a great modern hotel with views of the river and walking distance to the minor league soccer stadium. In June 2025 the light rail is still under construction but will be a huge bonus to get around KC. The Show Pony is a fantastic bar and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Nespresso maker and fridge in the rooms.

Certain little things didn’t work. I stayed for 2 days and they were never fixed. The phone in my room didn’t work. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. When I asked housekeeping for it they said they were all out. The ice machine on my floor (3rd floor) didn’t work.

The hotel is very clean with a nice view of the river. However, the room we stayed in 502 which is a deluxe King room has an air-conditioning unit right above it on the roof. The constant humming was loud and horrible. It never stopped. Then when the air kicked on in our room it was twice as loud. We would not stay in that room again. There is also a lot of construction going on right in back of the hotel. I'm sure it will be really nice once the construction is finished.

Can’t recommend.

For some reason a staff member entered our room about an after we checked in. Did not knock, did not announce themselves. Just unlocked and opened the door while we were in the middle of changing. This has never happened at any hotel that I’ve ever visited. Also, they were completely out of hand soap. Also a first. Probably won’t return.

I was just getting back from a horrible bachelorette trip and there was no way I was staying another moment. I just drove 9 hours from CO. Springs and I knew I wasn't going to make it 3 hours home. This 1 night hotel stay meant the world to me. I just needed to be alone, have a big meal, take a hot shower, and get a good nights sleep. I wish my stay was longer! This place is brand new, still smells like fresh paint! The style felt luxury! The couple staff members I talked to were so wonderful! Check in/out process was easy. The room was perfect! Bed was so comfy that I skipped trying the breakfast just to be in bed longer. The bathroom as Mr. Burns would say, Excellent! It was clean and pretty and spacious. I will always check this hotel 1st when I travel to KC. I cant wait to come back!

The hotel was located in an up in coming area, once the beer garden is open this will be perfect. The hotel was exceptionally clean and staff were great! I will stay here the next time for sure.
