The location in the parking lot concerned me with people hanging out in their cars and going in and out with trash bags. We checked in late, steps to 3rd floor were dirty, had dirty rags on the steps, smelled like drugs and sewer. Got to the room and the light switch didn't work, walked inside in the dark and found a light. Found stains on the end tables on each side of the bed and coffee table. My wife wiped these areas down and she went to bed because she was very tired. I will say the sheets smelled clean. This room had a hot tube (that we didn't use) and the sealant was coming loose all around and the lights above were falling out of the ceiling. The bathroom door had been pushed open in the past and had wood hanging from latch area. The sink backed up with hair coming back up and the shower wall slabs were being held on by hardware store metal backets. The floor tiles were loose and the walls unpainted in areas. The wall hvac was very loud and constantly made a clicking sound. There was extension cords hanging out onto the floor by the desk for the tv and mini fridge. Worst of all there were pictures left behind on the small shelf by the hot tube with pornographic images taken in that same room. I've taken pictures of all these concerns, threw the pictures away, and when we checked out in the morning I told the front desk we would not be staying our next 2 nights and that I would like a refund. I have not had a refund and they have kept my $100 deposit.

I have stayed here many times and will do so many more. You cant be the value and it is in a grear location. It is a safe, affordable, and comfy place to stay.

Had to get a room due to winter weather conditions. I reserved an accessible room. I got a room on the third floor. There is no elevator and I have bad knees so that was difficult. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. Thankfully, once in the room, it didn’t smell and was clean. The bathroom faucet dripped continuously. I won’t be staying at this property again.

It was during XTremely could weather, and I am disabled and had support animal with me. When we were to change room for last evening, they DID NOT come to contact us when room was ready, so we had to remain outside for 3 hrs more than expected! Missed dog sitter, so they took our deposit because the my shorthair Chihuahua had to come with us! They took our deposit, saying they had to "shampoo ALL the carpet! Dog NEVER made a mess and we were out 100.00! Very rude staff!

You drive up to a lobby that is locked door check in at 6pm. A guy peeps around and sees you without a smile. You don't know if he is the manager or what. He let's you in. You are greeted by a cage of what looks like bullet proof glass. Strangely there were a lot is cars in the parking lot that were nice. One was always running and people were going to that car. The hallways smelled of weed and we were driving through moving across country. The parking lot also had indesirables walking around. Valuables in a car there is no way they could vouch.. plus the massive setback of burglary happened wasn't worth the risk. We checked out 30 minutes after checkin when we came to our senses after a long drive and dinner. No refund was given. We checked in to the comfort suites down the street. 40 bucks more, so what were we thanking?

Good: close to Arrowhead, the Indian lady that was the front desk clerk was nice. Bad: the white lady that was in the laundry room that I asked for help locating a room seemed rude and loud, only interested in her cigarette break instead of being kind and helpful. Major bad: the hotel hallway and the hotel room and especially the hotel bathroom reeked of what resembled cigarette smoke and marijuana both. It was awful. I never usually leave bad reviews, and I had hoped we would have lucked out and had a good experience, but the experience was so negative I felt it was necessary to review (“WARN”) other prospective customers to avoid this property location.

Game day experience

I was looking for a hotel that was affordable that was not too far from Arrow head stadium for the Chiefs game that had tickets. This hotel had a shuttle to get you to the game and the rooms were clean.

We got this room because of price point and proximity to Arrowhead Stadium. Exterior is dated and parking lot rough. Our window view was out at round level looking up a bare hill. The room was ok, older up date. We only used it to sleep and it was relatively quiet, it is about a block off of a main street. Bright side was the wonderful lady running the breakfast, always made conversation and left us smiling.

Cheap is not always better..

Floors were not vacuumed..food particles on floor between bed and night stand.. old plastic lid with straw behind night stand..took forever to get hot water..my door was missing exterior metal block to keep people from breaking in..a lot of the doors to the rooms look broke into including mine..towels had a bad odor.. counter tops not wiped off and had food and liquid.. residue on them..very disappointing..
