Are you keen on spending the day unwinding by the sea? West Beach is located 80 kilometres from Kapunda. Sitting 75 kilometres away, Henley Beach is another tempting option.

Get some fresh air and gaze at the natural surrounds of Barossa Visitor Centre. It's located 20 kilometres away from Kapunda. You can also experience more peace and quiet at Kaiser Stuhl Conservation Park, 20 kilometres away.

Do you like the sound of the Peter Lehmann and Maggie Beer's Farm Shop? These sights are in Greenock, located just 13 kilometres south of Kapunda. Or perhaps the Bethany Wines and the Yalumba Wines are more up your alley? To see them, head to Nuriootpa, 17 kilometres to the southeast.

Planning to head to Marananga? This place is only 18 kilometres to the south. If you're staying here a while, make sure you visit the Turkey Flat Vineyards, the Whistler Wines and the Rolf Binder Wines. Also consider stopping by the Seppeltsfield and Barossa Bowland.

Eating is one of life's biggest pleasures, and since you're here, you probably think travel is too. Combine your passion for both by venturing out and trying the local food and drink at some of the restaurants, cafés and bars across town.

A staple ingredient in the food here is beef. Another is dairy products. They're definitely worth trying out if you're not already a fan.

While Kapunda features a variety of culinary delights, you shouldn't overlook salt and pepper squid and meat pie. Considered iconic local dishes, you'll need to put them on your must-try list if you really want to taste this destination.

You're unlikely to need too much persuading to have a bite of peach melba, a treat that'll make you want to pack up your bags and start a new life here.

It can be hard to sort the wheat from the chaff when it comes to superb beers, but one brew worth tossing back is Southwark Premium. Grab a glass and drink up!

Want to get the party going? A couple of shots of Bundaberg Spiced Rum will do the trick! Straight, mixed, in a cocktail — it's a must-try tipple!

There's a wine barrel full of reasons to try Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon or Riverina Chardonnay. These flavoursome drops beckon vino savants from near and far.

Adelaide Airport (ADL) is the closest terminal, 75 kilometres to the southwest. Ensure you give yourself enough time to reach it.
