Historic Accommodation located on our secluded lifestyle farm stay property @Katrine Steading, Est 1832, only 13 Kms from the historic towns of Northam and Toodyay. You can enjoy the piece and quiet of country life including bird watching, bush walking, seasonal kayaking on the Avon river, swimming in the pool or soaking in the Spa. The space "Downie" is one room on the top story of our Georgian built old stone house. The room is a large room with a queen size bed Microwave, FTA TV, Small fridge, RC AirCon, Electric fry pan, toaster etc. As well as coffee and tea making facilities. There is also a shared BBQ for all Katrine Steading guests. Interaction with us can be as much or little as you desire, feel free to enjoy the gardens and surrounding areas, we will be around somewhere if you need assistance or want a chat. Quiet secluded location with no near neighbors and limited drive by traffic. Situated on a rural 25 acre property surrounded by hills and adjacent to the Avon River. Numerous bird and wildlife to enjoy. Historic church 2 min walk away. Both Northam and Toodyay have many cafe's, restaurants and hotels to choose from, offering a wide range of food and drink to suit your tastes. No public transport, but taxi's will come out from Northam. Easy 10 - 15 min drive to both Northam and Toodyay. During your stay Interaction with us can be as much or little as you desire, feel free to enjoy the gardens and surrounding areas, we will be around somewhere if you need assistance or want a chat. Of course Monet (Like the painter) our Dog is the official property greeter.
