No WIFI for the whole time!!!! I'm not glued to my phone every second of the day but being able to use my phone for videos if I can't watch TV would be nice. I cannot believe this was not a priority in this age of tech. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good, even the bed was pretty comfortable - like a firmer mattress. BUT the convenience of turning on the TV to get some AM news, weather etc. and some noise at night, FIX the WIFI!!!! The hotel was one of the most reasonably priced in Shepherdstown. Having a pharmacy, Food Lion, Italian and Chinese restaurants and a gas station close by was nice.

The room I was assigned would not open - myself and staff tried but door refused to open - Room 3316. I was transferred to Room 307, tv did not work, there was no hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty. I was transferred to Room 100 - there was no hair dryer, no coffee pot in room but there were supplies to make coffee and tea in the room. housekeeping was notified to provide a hair dryer but they couldn't. Reason being , as per the staff, they didn't have any. This Quality Inn was a horrible experience.

the expedia agent mis-represented the location of the hotel. I chose not to stay there and am seeking a refund. It was a bad experience. The hotel could/would not help me. Disappointing in the extreme.

I'm so happy there is a good motel in Shepherdstown! I stayed at this motel for 5 nights while attending the CATF at Shepherd University. The motel is still in the process of being renovated, so a few standard motel-pieces are missing (I could never find an ice machine, for instance). The staff are super-nice and helpful, and the rooms are extremely clean. The neighborhood is safe. Fast food, a good pizza place and a grocery store are within walking distance, and a 24-hour gas station is just across the road. I would definitely stay here again.

On the positive note, the hotel had been renovated recently, the hotel staff were friendly, and the hotel was quiet and comfortable. Some opportunities for improvement from our recent stay...the bathroom door scraped the toilet bowl in order to open or close; the clock kept flashing different numbers unrelated to time of day; the TV remote was useless, and the breakfast buffet came up way short of expectation. Hopefully management will correct some of these issues, as the location and overall esthetics of this property are very good.
