We had stayed at the Bridge inn last year as we had an early flight and it was lovely, nice room and comfortable and clean. So we booked again this year as we had another early flight to catch. The food was good, pub grub as you would expect. Staff were lovely and welcoming. The room we had was on the ground floor. It was in need of some major tlc. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were lumpy. But there was an underlying odour of damp and mold in the room. In the bathroom the toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall. It just wasn't a comfortable stay. We were very disappointed and I doubt we will book again in the future.

Hotel room was ok and served its purpose. The evening meal was not great. At breakfast a person nearby complained that he’d searched his plate and couldn’t find the sausage, at which point the young lad went over to his table to help him look 😂 Our scrambled eggs were inedible. Probably won’t book a Green King stopover again.

needs an obvious way of calling a staff member to the reception desk. difficult to eat lasagne witha knife and fork when served in high sided dish. the room and shower area appeared very clean. food prices very reasonable. staff helpul and friendly. I did think the cost of 2 nights quite expensive, but I would consider booking again .

Worst breakfast experience we have ever had. Every morning, coffee had run out, orange juice had run out, even hot water on one morning. The place is being run on a shoestring with insufficient staff. Cleanliness poor - every table we used was sticky on top, and the door from the bar to the kitchen looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for months - how many sticky hands had pushed that open? It looked disgustingly unhygienic. Beds not properly made - just a shake of the quilt, and room not hoovered on a daily basis. Bathroom not properly cleaned. Exterior of hotel shabby and in need of sprucing up. Weeds a foot high in the 'flowerbeds'. All in all, not somewhere we will be going back to!

This property was the Center of local life as evidenced by the largely full parking lot. Owner operating Staff was friendly and accommodating however worked. Very good value! I would definitely stay here again if for no other reason that it was an authentic British experience!

Nice stay

We were met in reception by Chloe who was lovely. Very friendly and chatty. Our room was very clean, bed comfy and warm. They did have a gluten free menu but this was limited and there is no GF option for Sunday lunch roast which was a drawback. Our stay was good value and we would stay again if in the area.

Perfect for my 2 night stay whilst working in Somerset. Great staff, always helpful. Excellent customer service. Very clear that they enjoy their jobs. WiFi strong, room spacious and comfortable. Massive food choice (dinner and breakfast) and good value/quality.

Property very dated, we had noisy kids in the next apartment which did not help. Staff were super friendly and really helpful and made me and my family feel right at home. The hungry horse restaurant was really good with great prices and the food quality was excellent
