I stayed at Havana Cabana at Key West for my wife’s birthday trip. Overall, the hotel was nice the front desk staff were helpful and welcoming, and the amenities were good, including a beautiful, large pool and pool side bar with amazing bartender. However, our room had a ceiling that was actively leaking water onto the bed overnight, making it partially unusable. The bathroom was also not clean upon arrival, which was unexpected for a 4-star hotel. The hotel waived the $60 property fee as an apology but declined a refund, and Expedia offered $50 OneKeyCash, which did not fully address the severity of the issue. While the hotel has nice features and helpful staff, the leaking ceiling significantly affected our stay. This was disappointing for a 4-star property. Photos of the leak and bathroom conditions are attached and some more.

The room door felt like it was rotten and could fail at any moment. The shower water pressure throughout the hotel is beyond poor. The pool is fantastic, however, they blast the music at concert levels until 10:00pm or later.
