A Pleasant Hotel Stay

Not our first stay and that speaks for itself, rooms always clean with little extras that you don’t get elsewhere, tasty breakfast & bar always a nice place to sit

Fantastic bedroom, very clean and comfortable, great location. Only complaint would be the noise from other guests coming to bed in the early hours but that’s not the hotels fault. And it was a weekend so some noise would be expected. Would definitely stay here again.

Mixed review

Generally quite a nice hotel when I’ve stayed on earlier occasions. However, it’s a faff to keep checking in and out- I make individual bookings for each of the nights I stay, in case I need to change nights during the week. They have no way of linking the bookings. On this stay there were no coat hangers in the wardrobe - meaning I had to leave my clothes in my case. Finally, there was a large toenail clipping on the carpet……and it wasn’t mine!

A Lovely Fife Retreat

Spent three nights in the hotel with a friend who was visiting me in my home town - and the choice certainly proved worthwhile. The room was spacious and clean, while the breakfast buffet was first class. Only issue would be the 'double' bed was actually two singles pushed together leaving an uncomfortable ridge down the centre. In addition, try to avoid rooms 3 and 4 as there is an area below the room windows where staff enjoying a break congregate to smoke and chat - which can be problematic for those not looking to have an early rise

The property was very clean with excellent decor. On a negative note, when I was in the bar, the staff were huddled together talking about someone and I could clearly hear foul language. This is unacceptable to me.

Spotless

Hotel has been refurbished to a high standard in the last couple of years. The owners obviously mean to keep it that way as I have never seen so many cleaners in my life. Bed was very comfortable.

Nice welcome, huge room with coffee machine. Only thing that let it down was the water pressure was rubbish, not enough coming out the tap to wash my hands well at all
