A great hotel located in Sannomiya. The staff were amazing - for example I had a minor issue with my shower, but within 10 minutes of reporting it someone arrived at my room and fixed it. In the UK (where I live) I’d have expected it would take until the next day to fix, so 10 minutes certainly exceeded my expectations ! In addition to Japanese, many staff spoke very good English. The staff also helped me send my luggage to my next hotel. Perfect service ! The hotel is located in the busy area of Sannomiya with easy walking distance access to restaurants, shops and train stations, as well as a nearby Family Mart and 7/11. There is a Don Quijote opposite the hotel and Ikuta Shrine is just a couple of minutes walk away. 10-20 minutes walk south takes you to China Town, Meriken Park or the Port area. Relatively standard buffet breakfast, which outside of breakfast times offers free coffee. 3 combination washer/dryers on 2nd floor which accept cash, IC card and other payment methods. I didn’t use it but there is also a small gym on the 2nd floor. Like many hotels, the elevators require room keys to select a floor. The rooms were pleasant, clean, relatively spacious, with mini-fridge and customizable air conditioning. My room had a very nice walk-in shower (no bath if that’s a concern, however that certainly wasn’t an issue for me as I prefer showers anyway.) I’d most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Sannomiya.

Great area. Lots of dining. Close to all major transport stations (but one easy subway stop from Shin-Kobe Shinkansen station). Many major touristy stops totally walkable.
