The staff went out of their way to assist with several things. The Chinese restaurant was great. We were able to do laundry.

There are a lot of clutter in the hotel lobby, which makes it feel messy. The hotel looks a bit old, though it is clean. I arrived at the hotel after 10 o'clock at night. When I entered the door, I couldn't see the check-in counter. I went to a counter on the right. There was a card showing “ 百名湯認定証 ”, and add water room “加湯室” was behind the counter. I was about to search everywhere I could in the hotel, when suddenly I saw a man at the far end of the left side, so I chased after him and asked if he was a hotel staff. It turned out that the checkin counter was on the left, and I turned the wrong direction and went to the right. I was indeed frightened at that time when I couldn’t see anybody. Checkin was smooth with the help of the staff. If I haven’t been to the wrong direction, everything would be fine. The breakfast is delicious, and it is a semi-self-service style. Milk, rice, miso soup, bread, tea, etc. are all available for self-service. The mountain view from the restaurant is great.

the service was incredible. The staff went above and beyond to try and accommodate English speakers. A very small Japanese continental breakfast was included for free which was nice. The onsen was very relaxing. Dinner at the Chinese restaurant was delicious. The room was a bit dated and beds were pretty hard which is typical for Japan.

Very relaxing, accommodating staff

We loved our stay at the Spatio. We booked the traditional Japanese room which was very spacious and had a large living area that could be divided into a sleeping and living area. The room didn't have a shower, but there is an onsen on the first floor where you can shower.

仕事の都合で、今回初めて宿泊させていただきました。 広々として清潔感のあるお部屋で、とても快適に過ごすことができました。 「延命の湯」も身体の芯まで温まり、疲れがしっかり取れました。 敷地内には道の駅もあり、お土産の購入にも全く不自由がありませんでした。 今回は1泊でしたので、本当にあっという間でした。 次回は、2泊〜3泊ほど滞在して、ゆっくり堪能したいと思います。 また、5階でいただいた夕食の中華料理がとても美味しく、満足度が非常に高かったです。
