I was put on 25th floor with no lift, had to take stairs every time from 24th floor. Room size is decent for Hong Kong and location is pretty good too. Will only stay if you are planning to take bullet train to mainland China.

At check in I was told my room is on level 25 and the lift only goes up to 24th floor Hence I need to carry the luggage via staircase They did offered me to have someone to take the luggage up to 25th floor But it is just very challenge especially for elderly people who needs to climb up the stairs a few times a day

Room was clean but it’s an older hotel. Cleaning staff, bell staff were nice. The men at the check in counter didn’t care when we came at around 8::30. But the 2 bell attendants are very nice and accomodating.

They were Sam, Wilbert and Billy who were professional, friendly, willingness to help when we were having difficulties to get to High Speed Station from the hotel and finally able to catch a taxi to the airport. Check in is listed as 2pm on Expedia. This was refused and stated as 3pm at the hotel. 2pm was stated as the registration time only. The rooms were too cold. Housekeeping were setting the aircon to 10'c each day even though we kept switching it off. The room was functional but dated. We booked a suite, but this felt like a large motel room. Small things frustrated too. There was only one dressing gown. One tea bag etc. However the room was well serviced and reception / concierge efficient.

The hotel is in a great location although our taxi driver couldn't initially get us there because he had difficulty finding a way to get outside it. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were helpful. The only thing I think they need to get sorted is the availability of water in the room. I totally agree with water not being provided in plastic bottles but there should be a way customers could fill up their reusable water bottles. We got told to buy water at a shop which defeats the object really luckily the staff in the restaurant were more helpful than those on reception. It took us a while to realise what BP stood for, Baden Powell the father of scouting
