The area of the nature park is developed with over 250 km of cycling and hiking trails, 100 km of circular hiking trails and approx. 160 km of bridle paths. The Nossentiner / Schwinzer Heide nature park wants to become the first star park in northern Germany. Particularly dark places are honored as a star park, where one can observe the night sky very well. So far, only four areas in Germany have the title.
