Cockroaches everywhere. Signs of damage everywhere, and not clean. Staff didn’t care and rude. WiFi only in lobby. TV in room needed WiFi, so didn’t work. Listed on hotels.com as having a nice O’Brians cafe, but this is replaced with a dirty food offering. Woken every morning at 7am by the local mosque, the noise went on for about 20 minutes each day. Can’t walk anywhere due to busy road, need to take taxis. Would not stay here again!

Suite looks excellent as a first impression but almost everything is in poor condition. Big gaps in the wall furnishings where TVs used to be. Gaps in the flooring. The rugs is decrepid. No hot water. The staff came and rest the electric breaker but it threw open again within a minute. Resetting many times with the same result... no hot water! The whole place is poorly maintained and is in desperate need or maintenance and refreshing. I have pictures but app not allowing upload. At check-in, 200 RM deposit was required, which is not stated anywhere in the prior communications.

I had a great stay at Dua Sentral! One new thing I tried during this visit was the transport service provided by the operator — and I must say, it was super convenient. The service was easy to use, reliable, and definitely helped me save money compared to using Grab to get around KL. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a budget-friendly and smooth experience in the city!

I had a good short stay. Overall the location is good and the room is clean. They even have a reception counter even though I arrived quite late yesterday and assisted me with the check in. I also found it amusing that the building is linked to TNB!

Disappointing cleanliness - ok WhatsApp comms

I think some of the 3+ star reviews are misleading and possibly only about the size of the rooms. The suite size was large, but cleanliness and decor were really poor standard. The carpet had hair and dirt, mirrors/windows/shower glass doors had a lot of grime and hand marks as they hadn’t been clean. In both sinks there was hair, and the towels are quite old and marked. The WhatsApp contact was very helpful and responsive in general, I explained I was leaving and they asked the reasons for why I would be applying for a refund. This hotel is also difficult to get to - from KL KTM station I had to run over the highway! Also a RM 200 cash deposit (no atm nearby)…

Full of cockcroaches crawling everywhere!! Once you open the toilet bowl, they crawl out. Once you open the fridge, they crawl out. Once you open anything, they crawl out. If you bring back some biscuits/snacks, they crawl to eat it. Feedback given with no refund and shamelessly told us, not all of our rooms are like that, just some of them. Without shame!!
