Sea-Escape is our stunning secluded retreat with native bush and near new 1 bedroom "Bach" and spa overlooking the ocean it offers the ultimate getaway for that special occasion where " time out" is what you are looking for. Wake up to the sound of waves and ocean views from a comfy king size bed or admire the view whilst soaking in the spa. Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining opens onto the deck with barbeque and table and chairs where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee or afternoon wine in peace and quiet. The Bach is well equipped for your convenience and comfort - Sky TV, Stereo,fireplace, washing machine, linen, hairdryer,heater. Things you may like:) "Luke's cafe " is a favourite for good coffee, deliciously good food and relaxing atmosphere. 5 minute walk to Rings beach, 20 minute walking tracks along the beach join up to Matarangi. Stargazers Astronomy Tours Opito Bay Beach Cathedral Cove walk and hiking trail . Enjoy Coromandel.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay for our honeymoon. The house is really well thought out and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It was really nice having a fully functioning kitchen with ample plates, cups etc. and having a dishwasher was so nice so we could just enjoy our time at the beach. So private and truly the best beaches in NZ! We loved the visits from Sunny - the happiest dog ever! She knows not to step foot inside and thrives off tummy rubs.

Fantastic private location with awesome sea views. Property was very clean, fresh and modern. Fireplace was a bonus and a nice touch. Everything required was at the property, very well equipped. A great relaxing stay overall.

This is an amazing place to stay, high up on a hillside, surrounded by subtropical vegetation and with fantastic views of the Coromandel coast. The bach is beautifully decorated and very well equipped.Rechelle sent us very useful information well in advance of our stay and checked that everything was ok once we had arrived. She had left a bottle of fizz and some chocolate which were lovely touches.The property is up a steep gravel road which is a bit daunting the first time of driving but we got used to it.All in all we had a fantastic 3 days at Sea Escape and would recommend it to anyone.

We spent our honeymoon at this accomodation, and that was the best decision we ever made. Rechelle is a fantastic host, and went the extra mile to make my wife and my honeymoon special. Everything from the views, amenities, special treats, location, makes the seascape truly a hidden gem. I can see us going there every year for our anniversary!

The only word that describes this beach bach is WOW!! The view is absolutely amazing. The bach has everything you could need and more - chocolates and wine on arrival; wood for the fire; comfy chairs on the deck; a good mattress and lots of towels. Kitchen was well equipped. This was a perfect stay for our last couple nights on our holiday! The views we epic! We had everything we needed in this Bach to be comfortable and cook our own meals. The location was easy to find and close to many beautiful beaches and the little breakfast cafe and Lukes kitchen. We were visited by a sweet dog too. Great communication with host to answer and questions we had. Highly recommended staying here!
