Gate pad - could not sit in car to open or close
Check out key drop box - needed card to exit car park, no card drop box available at gate or reception, could not slide under reception door. Exited 4am and did not want to leave it for security purposes so have to post back.
The room was good...except for the overpowering mouldy smell. As there's no carpet all tile & it wasn't the kind of smell that comes from drains, it could only be coming from the airconditioning unit. As the windows were locked shut (security measure) there was no escaping it all night (& it can't be healthy).
As I travel across the tropics I encounter musty rooms a bit, but this one was next level and the most expensive, at $220 for one night.
The property was well renovated but not having a full menu and bar facilities makes it difficult.
You want to be able to have a decent sized menu to chose from and the continental breakfast is rather expensive for what you get.
The staff are amazing to deal with and very polite but considering they are open it should be able to supply a full menu, bar facilities for the guests.
It is a very limited menu and I think for the price they are charging for rooms they could make more of an effort to do cooked breakfasts and a better menu for dinner.
Certainly would stay there again, but not until it is fully operational which is May next year.
That’s a big gap for basic services.
The rooms are newly renovated, spacious and well layer out. Was unfortunate that the renovations to the bar, and restaurant and pool prevented them from being open. This was not indicated on the website
