Our stay was good. Clean room. The mattress could have been a bit better. We had issues with air conditioner- but I called and they immediately put in a new one. Hotel stay was very friendly and attentive to our needs, location is great, will definately stay again❤️

The location is fine but our oceanfront room looked out on a parking lot with a lousy view of the pool shed. The ocean barely visible and no view of the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. A second or third floor room would have been fine. They should have told us about this when we booked.

Check in was easy, they were able to get checked in early (for a fee) which was nice. Small but sufficient parking lot. The pool was very nice and well kept. Having the beach access right there, along with a hose to spray off was really nice. Loved being so close to the pier. Definitely would stay again.

Kure Beach and Ft. Fisher are favorites of mine and the location of this hotel is in the heart of the area. Room was clean, beds good, kitchenette was helpful and it was on the ocean. All good. Negatives, air conditioner was very noisy and inconsistent. Pool lights and rear parking lot ruined the nightime ocean watching. Room smelled like mildew when we arrived. A bit pricy.

Very convenient location. The place seems like it’s been recently renovated. It’s pet friendly but there no pet odors. Be sure to get breakfast at Ocean View Restaurant. And if the banana pudding is on the menu, you must have it!

Great ocean front room!

Great ocean front room! Super easy check-in and check-out. There was a little musty smell to the room but we got used to it after the first day. Great that it is pet-friendly but starting April 1st, no dogs are allowed on the beach between 9am and 5pm. There weren’t any signs at the hotel or before you head to the beach. We found out from the police who were kind enough to let us know before we got a ticket. Most other beaches we have stayed at in NC or SC it was closer to mid May so we were surprised it was so early.

1st time staying in Kure Beach not much to do on that end so from now on will go back to staying in Carolina Beach. The motel room itself is a nice size the bathroom however is way to small and the shower is the size of what you have on a cruise ship which would be fine if you were on a cruise ship in the middle of beautiful clear blue water. Room had a small kitchen area which we didn't use. We arrived about 2:45 and they wouldn't give us a room unless we paid $35 for early check in, which we have never run into this problem at any other hotel. Just for reference check in was at 4:00 other hotels just go ahead and let you check in but with that said this is a motel. The next part of the review didn't affect me, but they don't exactly have the same amount of parking spots that they have rooms. They had one spot that was listed for loading and unloading and apparently someone came in later that evening and there was not a parking spot available so they parked in that spot then the next morning the motel was having their car towed even though it does not have enough spots for each room. Which I thought was very dirty they should have contacted the person in the spot and asked him to move their car. You have to gather up your own towels and put them in a bag and you have to gather up your own trash which for the price you pay for the room You shouldn't have to do. Room was clean.

The room waa great, clean, beds were good, easy access. The only con is the area they have for pets. Its a very small, dirt, probably 5x8 area right at the road. We ended up having to walk across the street to take our dog where cars weren't buzzing by and there was a grass area. Orher than that, it waa great.
