We have been going to Truntum Kuta ( Previously Grand Inna) for the past 10 years. From the Managers, Reception staff to the cleaners we have built a friendship as well as mutual respect. When you walk into into a hotel and you feel like its a second home and your name is always remembered, there is no better feeling. Even though we will stay at other hotels for the experience Truntum is always our favourite because the staff make it wonderful. So, for as long as we go to Bali, a Truntum stay is a must.

We have stayed at this hotel previously? On arrival the main pool was under renovation which we had not been informed before our travels. Men working outside our room at night?? Not enough sunbeams around the pool that was open?Arguments happening as some folk had placed towels but did not turn up until mid afternoon quite embaracing? Hence we will be looking for alternative accommodation on our next trip quite poor .

Level of cleanliness was outstanding, food standards were high. Only ate in the hotel due to the standards of the hotel. Looking forward to returning to the Truntrum as soon as possible.

I really enjoyed my stay here... the hotel is right on Kuta Beach, and there many dining and shopping choices. I was given a room upgrade, and was able to see the sea from my room, which had two different balconies. It's an older hotel, now going through renovation, but what I liked about my room was ample closet space for clothing... Staff, as I have found in my travels for indonesia, were sweet, friendly, and helpful.

Staff were very attentative and helpful - deluxe pool side room was spacious, clean and a nice view of the pool. We did not go out much during the evening as the hotel had everything we needed. Hotel is right on the beach and close to shopping centres and restaurants etc. A lovely stay.

Hotel was dated, old and eerie. We only stayed for a few hours so we had somewhere close to the airport to stay at since our flight was late in the evening and check out at our previous beautiful Ubud property had an 11am checkout. I paid around $110. This hotel wasn’t even worth $20! Staff incompetent, room service food gross, and dirt absolutely everywhere. To top it all off we spotted rats in the pool area and when we told pool staff they simply laughed it off. As soon as we saw the rats we bolted out of there. We spent no more than 5 hours at this hotel. This hotel needs to be demolished and rebuilt. Time to shut down the shop I say! Worst hotel experience ever. We were offered a free ride to the airport, which would have cost us no more than $10 tops via Gojek. We were not offered any reimbursement. Avoid!

Best Hotel

It was amazing the staff are just so helpful and go out of their way to help. The massage rooms at hotel are great we had quite a few services done there.

nice sunset hotel

Centrally located in Kuta beach, a lot of shops,restos, massage places around. Beautiful sunset from certain room. Room is relatively clean, AC worked well, breakfast is basic. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. However the road is always crowded, take an extra time to go to airport.
