I loved my stay in the hotel, it went beyond my expectations, the lobby and design is beautiful. and the staff is warm and kind. They offer 3 different types of restaurants, the breakfast is very good and I was only saddened to find out that the rooftop restaurant is closed in winter. They also have a shuttle to and from the train station, which is a wonderful service. The hotel is also in a good location with a bus stop nearby and the beautiful temple Nishi Hongan-ji, which I recomend visiting. Overall me and my family were extremely happy with our stay.

The hotel staff are very very nice and kind, room is exceptional clean, location is convenient, close to the big temple and cross street are quiet beautiful traditional residential streets which bring me back to tang dynasty.

Hotel was very clean with extremely welcoming staff. Slightly further out than other hotels but the walk is definitely manageable. A great stay and would definitely recommend

The property looks amazing when you enter and the hotel staff are really nice and it is located in a good area. The staff listen to what you want and provide great recommendations. There needs to be improvement in the cleanliness. The bathrooms had so much black mold and mildew everywhere.

Outstanding hotel. I haven't been to all hotels in Kyoto but this hotel was by far the best one i have been to. Even though it is located in downtown Kyoto it has a very tranquil and peaceful atmosphere. It is quiet in the room which is good when you want to sleep. Breakfast is great and the lounge is nice. It is a good place where you can relax in the evenings.

Dont do breakfast. Bar experience very nice. Convenient shuttle all day to 2035 to Rail station was great for CBD access. Nice walk to palace/ castle north of CBD
