The room was clean and bed/comforter were very cozy especially compared to other hotels we stayed in Japan. However, the room was quite small. It was difficult to maneuver our luggage. Also the lighting could be better.

Excellent stay! The hotel has a perfect location with plenty to do around and countless options to explore the local food scene. Everything is within walking distance or easy to reach by public transport, making it ideal for sightseeing in Kyoto. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a great value for the price and highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Kyoto to the fullest.
