Very flash hotel for the price we paid, so many amenities and got our room upgraded for free which was a bonus. Friendly staff, and very clean hotel. Perfect location 5 min walk to Kyoto Station, they offer a shuttle to the station every 20 mins as well. To save on rubbish they provide a self serve water and ice machine on every floor and provide a bottle and an ice bucket which I thought was very cool

We stayed three nights in a Luxury Twin room on the 10th floor (set up for 3), it was huge! (45m2 I think). Plenty of space and lived up to the Luxury tag. Amazingly quiet with a view out the front of the hotel onto the twinkly Christmas lights in the trees. Amenities and facilities were spotlessly clean with thoughtful inclusions (like herbal bath salts and fluffy robes). Breakfast was excellent in both the KAZA (buffet) and the Top Of Kyoto (generous set breakfast). Top Of Kyoto is so peaceful and we had a beautiful start to our stay watching the view of the whole of Kyoto drift by. So relaxing. The shop is excellent with lovely souvenirs at very reasonable prices. The shuttle bus is a great addition, we made use of it every day. Thank you to the careful driver and very attentive bus supervisor, it was a pleasure. We enjoyed our stay so much and can't wait to return.
