Its prime location provides easy access to attractions, 30-minute walk to the main shopping street or a 10/15 min, 230 yen fixed-price public transport ride for humid days. A highlight is the fantastic onsen, ideal for unwinding after sightseeing. A clever touch is the in-room TV display showing onsen busyness, helping you choose the most peaceful time. Don't forget your towel, and the complimentary PJs! The basement amenities are incredibly practical, featuring snacks, drinks, a comfortable seating area, a gym, and washing machines. Around the hotel, you'll find great local dining options including kamidas for breakfast and pizza places for dinner (remember to reserve online!). A standout service is the luggage delivery to Narita Airport, arranged two days prior at reception, ensuring an stress-free departure.

Very nice hotel with luxurious feel, courteous staff and appreciated amenities. The only downside was the street noise and being right across from the fire station - sirens would randomly go off in the middle of the night and wake us up.

Overall a very nice and clean hotel, friendly staff, and located in a quieter area of Kyoto. Rooms were clean though a bit on the small side. Beds and pillows both comfortable. Our main issue with the hotel was that there really is not much in the immediate area as far as dining options or shopping. Also, there is NO view from the hotel room as the adjacent building is all you see when rolling the blinds up. You either have to take a train or cab to go to most places in Kyoto. Thankfully the cabs are rather inexpensive so we ended up using the GO taxi app to get to and from the hotel to most of the places we wanted to go. We also used the subway a few times since the station is only a few block away. Overall a nice hotel for the price and we would definitely consider staying here again if our travels ever bring us back to Kyoto.

Very good location, 3 minutes walking distance to Gojo subway station and 2 minutes to bus station. The hotel is modern, clean and quiet. We will stay in this hotel when visit Kyoto again.

The Blossom Kyoto is one of the best properties I have stayed at... globally. We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay here. The level of service is impeccable as is the staff and facilities. I highly recommend this property if travelling to Kyoto!

Yes the entrance is impressive as others have reviewed, but our room was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was bright, and there was space to relax. There is major shopping about 15-20 minute walk, access to bus and subway, and convenient to restaurants. This was my first trip to Japan and Kyoto. Highly recommend!! I will miss the matcha opportunities.
