The property, the rooms, the staff were all amazing! The breakfast is definitely a must if you're staying here and it's walkable to most places and stations if you're planning on venturing out. The dinner course was great too if you're not looking to go far for food. Shuttle to Kyoto station was also a huge help. Thank you again for the amazing stay!

This hotel is simply fantastic, so nice we decided to extend our stay. The staff is amazing, the rooms are extremely clean and way bigger than usual hotel rooms in Japan. The area is beautiful close to nice nature shrines and a short walk for dining and bars.

This is a gem of a hotel a short walk from so many wonderful attractions in Kyoto! The staff were top notch and helpful in every way. The view from our room was serene and the hotel decor was elegant. We did laundry while we were there and soaked in the foot bath. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a luxurious accommodation without too high of a price!

professional staff that was very helpful in helping me in receiving and sending my luggage bags. the hotel was very nice, with clean rooms and a atmospheric lobby. the hotel itself is in a quiet area, but still close enough to walk to the busier areas and especially close to popular temples and other similar areas. when needing to go further distances both bus and train were easily accessible. this is my second time at this hotel and my preferred option everytime I'm in Kyoto

Out of everywhere I stayed in Japan during my trip, this was my favorite. It is so tranquil, boutique, full of hospitality. There is a seating area and huge footbath area outside, as well as shuttle to Kyoto Station, which is an amazing perk! You will likely wake up to a beautiful wide view of trees, distant mountain, and the footbath outside. There are nice Japanese pajamas left in the room as well as slippers. Yes, there is a refrigerator. The staff were very hospitable and welcoming. My only negative about the experience is the staff member at the desk, being unorganized with charging me on things relating to the room. She made a mistake which caused an inconvenience, so I would recommend more training with bookings management. Overall, would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Hotel is located on a quiet street but in walking distance to major attractions and the main streets. Hotel students are very friendly and we liked breakfast options. We also used shuttle from and to the train station which runs every hour. Overall a great stay!
