Part of an 18th century Provencal farmhouse, 1.5 km from the center of Isle-sur-Sorgue. Beautiful garden shed, and shaded terrace to enjoy the outdoors.
Large living room / lounge / kitchen on the ground floor, 3 bedrooms on the first floor, 2 bathrooms, 2 separate toilets, mosquito nets on all windows.
Fully enclosed garden (useful for young children) and secure parking. Animals are welcome after agreement of the owner. Possible access to a very small arm of the river near the house. Possibility to park inside the courtyard.

Charming, Beautiful- all Gold Stars

This is a beautiful and comfortable house, decorated with taste and style. It’s also a sort of gallery, featuring works of a renowned local artist and others. The kitchen is admirably stocked with all one could want for prep and serving. The courtyard provides a relaxing and lovely place for quiet moments. Marie-Helene and Olivier are personable and communicate with warmth and efficiency. I wish I could go right back.

Warm welcome, nice house & location

In the end, I wasn’t able to go on this Va action due to having Covid, but my two friends still met there. They found the owners helpful and quite sweet. The house was very nice and in a good location. I hope to be able to go there next summer!

Very pleasant place to stay, both the gite and Isle-sur-La -Sorgue

Four of us spent a lovely week at this old farmhouse. It was very well equipped eg. loads of mugs, glasses, cutlery, plates so we didn’t have to keep washing them up to use them. Very comfortable, colourful, artistic and two outdoor spaces to enjoy. Marie-Helene and Olivier were great hosts and Isle-sur-La Sorgue was much better than we’d expected. A great week all in all.

beautiful spacious and comfortable house

We have just returned from a wonderful week, this property is beautiful, very well thought, retaining all the charm of the building. Only a short gentle walk from the centre of l'isle sur la sorgue. Well connected as a great jumping off point to this beautiful area of France. Shame the weather wasn't kinder so we could enjoyeating out, some things you just can't book.

Beautifully renovated stone vacation home

Beautifully renovated farmhouse

We stayed here in June when France experienced its record heatwave and afternoons became so hot we needed to find shelter. Thank goodness for the house's cool interior, vine covered patio and shaded abri. We were four adults looking to explore the area and were pleased to find the house was within walking distance of l'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous for its antiques, as well as within easy reach of Avignon and the enchanting hill top villages nearby. Olivier was the perfect host supplying maps, information and guides. We would recommend this house 100% and would not hesitate to stay there again. It is incredibly well equipped with so many tasteful artistic touches - a credit to Olivier's vision and talent!!

We spent a wonderful week in this lovely home! It had everything that we needed - very cozy and comfortable! And private. Can be a little chilly with the stone walls and floors but the heaters work well and are efficient. It is about a 20 minute walk along the river into the village. Helene-Marie and Olivier are terrific hosts. They live right next door so it is convenient should you have any problems. Would definitely stay here again!

Well equipped house in a good location

We stayed for the week from 6th October with our dog Lily. We were joined by our friends from Tuesday - Friday. The house was spotless, very comfortable for all of us, and had plenty of space inside and out. It is well equipped with many arty touches.It is possible to walk along the road into the town in around 20 mins but it is busy and in parts unpaved so not ideal. There is a path along the river which would work in summer months. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and the area which is beautiful. The garden is perfect, secure and safe.

Month long stay in the perfect Provençal location

L'Isle sur la Sorgue is the ideal location for a stay in Provence. We stayed there for a month and never tired of its offerings. The city is within an hour or a bit more to the beautiful small hill towns and the same to the glorious cities of Arles, Avignon and Marseilles. All varieties of walks and hikes are just minutes away. Marie-Hélène and Olivier's home is perfectly situated just far enough out of the city to offer a quiet respite and close enough for an easy walk along the river to a lively small city with a multitude of shopping opportunities and good restaurants. The city is a tourist destination for the French so you get the feeling of being part of the French culture which is a lovely experience. Their Sunday antique market is famous throughout Provence. The home itself is a renovated barn and is glorious in its clean lines and authentic architecture. Every detail is carefully thought out and maintained. We stayed alone for most of the month but had company for a little while and the home expanded to include the four of us nicely. The kitchen is perfectly stocked for cooking and we enjoyed staying home many nights and cooking the bounty that the local outdoor markets have to offer. The outdoor patio area with its grill and two large farm tables are a complete luxury. The large and quiet outdoor area gave us the opportunity to totally relax after a busy day hiking or driving through the countryside or in the cities. Marie-Hélène and Olivier are the perfect hosts, offering guidance when we needed it and allowing us complete privacy when we wanted that. Their kindness and generosity made our stay that much more special. We do recommend bringing along a pair of warm slippers as the stone floor maintains its cool temperature! We recommend this home without reservation and consider ourselves lucky to have enjoyed it for such a long time.

Bezauberndes Haus

Das Haus von Marie-Helene und Olivier ist wirklich aussergewöhnlich. Es ist sehr stilvoll und stimmig eingerichtet. Die Küche ist sehr großzügig ausgestattet. Der Aussenbereich lädt zum Verweilen ein, besonders die weinüberwachsene Terasse ist ein weiteres Highlight. Die Vermieter dieses Traumhauses wohnen nebenan und sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus können wir nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce mas provençal , plein de charme et authentique . L'intérieur est confortable , bien équipé et aménagé avec beaucoup de goût . Le jardin et les coins repas extérieurs sont fort agréables et l'ensemble est verdoyant et bien entretenu. . Les propriétaires , Marie-Hélène et Olivier, sont chaleureux , accueillants et très disponibles. Le mas est bien situé pour pouvoir rayonner dans le Lubéron . Nous recommandons cet endroit pour de belles vacances !

Das Haus war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage war sehr ruhig und etwas ausserhalb vom Zentrum. Der Innenhof lud zum Verweilen ein und die zur Verfügung stehende Spielwiese mit Netz war Ideal zum Badminton spielen. Check In- und Check-Out verliefen sehr zügig und unkompliziert.
