I was unable to attend my reservation and realized my mistake the following day and requested to reschedule for a week later due to an error I made when booking. Unfortunately, the room was non-refundable, and the manager declined to make any exceptions, despite our long-standing patronage at Château Laurier for over ten years. Hotels.com did their best to advocate for us, but the manager at the Chateau Laurier remained unyielding. It’s disappointing that Château Laurier has lost our loyalty over a relatively simple issue. Their unwillingness to communicate with me or respond to my emails, as well as their refusal to work with Hotels.com, reflects poorly on their management. They seem more inclined to lose dedicated customers than to consider rescheduling our stay by a week or two. It’s truly frustrating.
