Very good

Incredibly loud rooms, could hear every time toilet next to us flushed all night. Room on back side of the hotel REEKED of Chinese food from neighboring restaurant. There were fights and loud bar yelling behind the hotel both nights 1130p-245a.
Mold in the bathroom, shower curtain was dirty, tub had hair not ours in it upon arrival, sticky carpet, loose bathroom tiles, dirt in all corners, tv had no cable.
The only minor plus was bed was comfortable and location was a good walking distance to the main downtown attractions.
The room smell musty & needs an air freshner. The shower curtain was too short & bathroom floor floods while taking a shower making it slippery & dangerous. Also, one of the shower heads doesnt work right & needs replacement. Outside windows need washing.
When we got there we got put into a room that had a broken toilet with black water in it. There was a clear water stain all across the floor. It had been that way for quite some time. They did move us right away, but even when calling to book, was told only 1 room left and that clearly wasnt the case if they found us another one right away. Very expensive for what youre getting. Was also cheaper on expedia, do not call and book direct with this hotel, they charge more.
Excellent location for all that downtown LaCrosse has to offer. Biking, walking, eating is all right there!

Property had uncomfortable beds, low bathroom ceilings, a run down look, and a closed breakfast area. Management was friendly.

This worked out great for us. The location was perfect. Easy walk to Riverside Park. The only improvements could be the tub/shower (which needed replacement) , the Gym (which needed air conditioning) and the air vents in the hall (which needed cleaning).
Staff, location and price made this a 4 for me.
We loved the location of the property. Parking was good and check-in was easy. The beds were comfortable and there was a fridge/microwave combo. That's where the positives ended. The bar/restaurant never opened in the 4 days we were there, so I assume it is permanently closed.
We stayed in room 214. The only place we had a garbage can was in the bathroom which was weird but not a deal breaker. The walls are very thin and you hear everything happening in the hallway.
Bathroom- Our tub did not drain quickly, so when you took a shower, the tub filled with water. The toilet bowl had a black ring around the water line and underside rim. The floor tiles were all loose in the bathroom, so they shifted when you walked.
The gym- The A/C unit was not working, so it was extremely hot. There were ceiling tiles missing. Nothing was available to wipe down machines or weights when finished. No water fountain to fill water bottle. Only chose to use the gym for a short time and went elsewhere for other days.
If was ok if you are just looking for a place to lay your head with great location. I will would not stay here again.
Great location. It was simple but just what we needed for a weekend away.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
The hotel was both cute and had a historic feel. The big disappointment was that it felt like it was half modernized and half under construction. Found tiles just lying in the shower upon arrival. Also the hotel bar/restaurant was not operational at the time of stay. Wish it could have been a more pleasurable experience, but will definitely try staying again in the future.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Need to have a short inspection before giving our rooms. Broken/inoperable lights, AC issues, and slow draining bathtub.
For the price, I’ll be staying elsewhere.
But the staff was extremely kind
