Very friendly people. We speak very little Spanish, but used google traslate when we met the people to check in. We did not cook, basically just spent time in the evenings after our excursions. It was perfect for what we needed. Delicious bakery 1 block away. People are very friendly. This place is not in a "touristy" area, morè in a local family neighborhood. Our family enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great Stay with a great location..

We enjoyed our time and the rooms were very accommodating. Loved location next to the bakery down the street and only a block and a half from a nice grocery store. Made walking good. We walked to town a couple times which was further away but still very doable.

The house itself is clean and has basic items needed for a short stay. It has plenty of beds which are comfortable but only one bathroom. There is a covered parking spot for one car. The price is reasonable for the location. It was a little difficult finding the place as the map takes you to the house on the other end of the street. There is a sign on the house that says where you are looking for but you have to keep driving down the street. I felt safe as the house has it's own locked gate (all the houses do). It is conveniently located to a supermarket that you can walk to but no one there speaks English. There is also a little cafe/bakery that you can walk to but no other dining is within walking distance. The main problem we had was with the noise. You can hear the neighbors in the adjoining house talking/laughing as if they are in the next room. Motor bikes are speeding around the neighborhood constantly causing all the dogs in the neighborhood to bark and a car alarm kept going off. It sounded like they were just going in circles. The noise goes on till very late at night. My mother was in the bedroom that shares a wall with the neighbors and she could not get any sleep.

This is a great location from which to explore the law Fortuna area. I particularly liked the covered, offstreet parking. The hostess left a wonderful basket of bananas and the best pineapple we’ve ever had. What more could we ask for?

Great neighborhood.

Host was very helpful. The house is a easy mile walk from downtown La Fortuna. Loved the patio spent lots of time there listening to music.
