This property has a beautiful setting and is a very tranquil place to stay. It is right on the outskirts of La Fortuna and situated in a very secluded area. I do recommend you have a car or other transportation from the hotel if you stay there. We had a rental car so we had no issue with transportation but it is too far off the beaten path to just wander into town for dinner or shopping. The hotel staff can of course set up any transportation you might need. They offer many,many things at the hotel for you to do… massage, yoga, pool , hot tub, and walking trail… so you actually never need to venture off the property if you are looking to just stay and enjoy the amenities there. If you have a car then it is in the perfect location. Not too far and not to close to all La Fortuna has to offer. The breakfast buffet which is included is phenomenal. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. PS Yoga is no extra charge and was relaxing and in a beautiful covered outdoor space. I highly recommend going to yoga especially if you have been hiking.

This resort is very well kept and nestled in the forest. Our back patio in our private casita looked out at the forest and we saw monkeys in the trees in the morning. The massage area is so relaxing while in a private area overlooking the forest. The dining area has really good food. The staff is really nice. The pool area is very relaxing with a swim up bar. Very relaxing and beautiful all around.

Amazing place to stay

Perfect location and lovely staff. The food and drinks were great and lots of options. There is a ton of stuff to do and you can book via the hotel. The spa experience was amazing too. Only complaint would be the beds are pretty hard, but the room overall was also very nice and private.
