Beautiful property with a great breakfast and prime location. The only small negative is the resort allows kids everywhere, it would be nice if the swim up bar or one of the hot pools was adults only.

Amazing hotel with Arenal Volcano views. It's a very big resort and our rooms was very far away but the resort offers transportation to and from our room. The room was big and spacious. Food was great at the restaurant, at the bar and also for breakfast. Thermal pools were amazing and relaxing. The only issue we had was that they don't offer transportation to the volcano viewpoint or to the lake. So we walked up, 2 miles uphill to the viewpoint, and let me tell you that my chest started to hurt and I got really scarred. I do not recommend this hike. We paid good money for this resort and this should be included. Aside from this upsetting issue everything else was great.

We stayed here as a family of five (with kids aged 13, 8, and 5), and it was a great experience. There were different pools for the kids to enjoy, and the hot springs were perfect for the cooler nights. Our room was extremely spacious and conveniently located near both the pools and the restaurant. The daily breakfast was delicious and a highlight of our mornings. We rented a car and drove up to a beautiful viewing point located high above the resort—definitely worth it for the views. We would absolutely stay here again!

Facilities were nice. Love the pool bar and many hot spring pools and different temps. Breakfast buffet was good. Bar food was not good. Didn’t eat lunch or dinner in the main restaurant so can’t speak on how they are. Price point is great for the property and value you receive

The hot springs polls were fantastic. Well-maintained, clean, with a variety of temperatures and features. My family and I really enjoyed our time. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of choices for everyone. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and everything was in working order. I would prefer blackout curtains though because the sun was up before 6am.

The facility is clean and well presented. I was put off a bit by the initial welcome where you are told of the charge for losing your pool ticket, the fact you can only go to breakfast once etc. After that the facility is very nice and all staff were very helpful. One area that was an issue was the ‘paper thin’ walls between rooms. You can hear everything that is going on, including next doors air conditioning unit causing a rattle. I guess they saved a couple of dollars. The pools are nice ( and we’re quiet when we were there) and the view of the volcano is great. Breakfast was good.

I was really looking forward to this hotel. But it was not what we expected. The hot springs spas are nice, but very crowded. This property is large and you need to use their shuttle service everywhere. ( We did not do a rental car) If you want ice for your room... ugh. You have to call the restaurant to come deliver it like room service with the $5.00 delivery fee. To use the hot springs you have to go through a towel monitor, who shoves a tip jar in your way, if you ask a question. To get to your room with luggage in their shuttle is another sore spot. They just drop you off near your building. It just wasn't what we were expecting.

The hotel has the most amazing view of the volcano. Our room was on a corner in which we were able to see the sunrise and volcano. The hot springs are amazing and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and had many items to choose from. The rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Very close to downtown La Fortuna.

Had several pool and thermal pool options. 2 water slides that my child loved. You can also do ziplining, horseback riding, and other tours. A beautiful lookout of arenal mountain although the view from the bottom of the resort is just as fantastic. Beautiful property. The rooms are nice and the bathroom is huge. Everybody was really friendly.
