This hotel has a beautiful,peaceful beach. We were the only ones staying in the hotel on our first night, locals only head to the beach on the weekends. The only restaurant has limited hours,2 for breakfast,lunch and dinner but the food was great and our only waiter gave us VIP service.I would and will definitely stay there again. Check-in and check-out hours are different from the Expedia website so confirm first.

Worst hotel out there

NO Water, dark hotel, We have to leave once we run out of water , we stayed for about 30 min, then w ran oiut of there , save yourself a disappointment

Excellent ocean view!

There are two pools. One was very dirty, but the other one did not seem like that. The hotel needs some repairments. The food was excellent and at a great price! It was safe and the hotel staff was very nice.

Relaxing day

If you just want to get away from the rest of the world this is the place you can read a book and not be bother, very clean service from crew could be better most of them don't say hello or good morning front desk lady need more training, manager very nice so is the lady in charge of cleaning very friendly food could be better.

Good for everyone and makes you feel safe

The hotel is really at first when you come in its not very luminated but inside its beautiful the waiters, chefs, cleaners, security guards,lifeguard, people at lobby,etc. where super nice. The waiters made sure we were alright. The life guard made sure everything was alright too and everyone there welcomed you each day. I love that place and New Years is a blast!!!( There also seems to be a guard dog)

"The Shining" on the beach

Checking into this hotel was scary. There were no other guests, the elevator was turned off and one of the two pools was green. If it wasn't pre-paid we would have just left. We later counted the guests, and there was a total of 6, *including* the four in our party. What also made this scary was the fact that you were isolated at the end of the pennisula. There was nothing else around except for the hotel and the beach. I had also read complaints that the water in the showers was salty. I didn't notice that, but it wasn't particularly warm either. So, most of the showers were quick. Having said that, the description here is accurate. The hotel did provide meals and snacks as well as drinks during our stay. (In fact, there were more staff than guests.) If there were people around or more things to do, this could be an okay place. However, I can't recommend it. Particularly if you have never been to El Salvador, you should not make this one of your destinations.

Absolutely awful experience

The pictures and description of this hotel are extremely misleading. The place is dirty, in serious decay, does not feel secure at all, does not have enough staff, not enough food in the restaurant and what is there is extremely bad. This was very disappointing and I feel ripped off because this hotel is not what is advertised. They offer an "all inclusive" package but there is no food in the hotel restaurant and nothing near by to go get. We had to starve at night because they just had re-heated slabs of meat at dinner. Security is a big concern when traveling in El Salvador, but this place has one guy by the entrance and no one watching the back gate by the pool which does not even have a lock.

Need more improvements

Checking in was very easy, nobody to there to welcome us, Rooms are very clean but not too roomee, one elevator only, stayed for 5 days and during the first day of the week we were alone and the service gets poorer, swimming pools need more attention specially with the cleaning of it. the beach was awesome, service personnel needs more training. food its good but need more variety, i think the price is right for what you get. definitely I will come back someday.

Problemas con reservación y desayuno

1 perdí mi aparato para hacer fotos selfie. Lo deje olvidado en el cuarto. 2 el jugo de "naranja" del desayuno, no lo es. Es un refresco azucarado al extremo. Es un engaño. 3. El servicio del bar es pésimo. 4. Mi reservación no la tenían registrada porque tarda hasta 48 horas en llegar al hotel. Gracias a Diis que no estaba lleno. Por suerte llevaba mi copia de confirmado.

Buen balance entre Precio, calidad y servicio.

Para los que buscamos un fin de semana, liberar estrés, tranquilidad, buen trato, limpieza y comodidad en la habitación y las instalaciones, buena comida, hermosas playas y con paquete todo incluido, Hotel Bahía Dorada es muy buena opción. Me gusto la vista al mar, el buen funcionamiento del ascensor, la atención al cliente y accesibilidad a la playa, piscinas y demás espacios. Solo la recepción del cable TV deberían revisar, la mayoría de canales no se veía bien.
