We have stayed in quite a few Comfort Inns and Suites over the last few years. This one was by far the best one. It also has one of the most beautiful pools I have ever seen in a hotel.

I rented the room for my elderly sister through Expedia. I called to put her name on the reservation. The front desk attendant said that was fine and took my sister's details.The following day called again to verify she wouldn'tcheck in at 4 pm, and the owner answered saying my sister could not use the reservation I made for her because she was not the original puurchaser. I explained I often get my sister hotel rooms in the same manner and have never had this problem, even at this hotel. After some back and forth to see how to resolve the situation, we decided I would cancel Expidia, and she would call to make her own reservation at the hotel. When she called he kept bringing up the Expedia reservation and told her he would not let her reserve a room either, that if she showed up at the hotel he would call the police. There was no reason for this. It was just a crazy situation. My elderly sister ended up driving home 3 hours at 1 am. She was afraid to try another hotel because of the confusion and threats by the Comfort Inn owner. We did not use the room obviously.

Great breakfast

All areas of hotel were clean. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was good, i always get the waffles. NEGATIVE: There are only sheers on bedroom windows. The dark curtains dont close they are only decor on sides of windows. Bright lights from outside coming in all night. Fan was rather loud on a/c. 4 pillows on each bed but all big and puffy. Otherwise beds were comfortable. Walk right next door to a good Mexican restaurant but I think you have to drive to other places.

I was a bit disappointed in this hotel. The toilet in our room had urine from the previous occupants, hair in the bathtub, and a really musty smell. The breakfast was ok. There was one gentleman who seemed to be trying to do everyone's job, so maybe they are shorthanded. I will look for a different option next time.
