Good nice short stay in St Denis

A very short amazing stay at Best Western. May be a point for improvement is the pillows. They are square, too small and too soft, the queen size bed was okay. May be if more TV and radio channels could be added, especially in english as all of them were in french. Otherwise no complain as such.

A good stay

We stayed here for a few days as a base for visiting the attractions of Reunion Island and are glad we did. It was great value for the price and the restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful and fluent in English (which is a rare thing in Reunion).

By the water, walking distance to main sights

We spent one night in St Denis and considering that the city is quite small this was an ideal location just by the water front and we could easily walk to all the spots we wanted to see in the city. The hotel feels recently refurbished and I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the room (probably because I'm used to small European city hotels). The air conditioning was effective and the room felt bright and clean. I would stay here again if I was ever in town.

Good Location but ....

To be honest I was expecting more from a Best Western hotel. Location is perfect close to the life of St. Denis with few restaurants and pubs around. Restaurant food really average especially for lunch and dinner, breakfast not bad but you have to prepare also your coffee by yourself. Room very dated and very very basic. Good for business but not really for vacation

Great downtown location

Brief stay of one night. Excellent location. Only problem -- no onsite parking and offsite parking difficult to find at certain hours of day.

Middle of the Road - As Expected

This is a good hotel for transition - everything is decent (except frustrating constant on/off wifi and garbled outgoing Skype from rooms, despite mgmt. saying wifi works throughout the hotel - sit right beside front counter and it works). Room was adequate though AC didn't work properly and was promised to be fixed/or us moved. (Language barrier - this didn't happen), but staff is friendly and otherwise tries - especially Michel, who I found to be very polite and caring. Couches in front area need a cleaning and few drips of water from ceiling in main foyer. Pool is a treat- big, underused an delightful. We enjoyed the food (dinner) at Oasis (hotel restaurant) and the waiter. Suggest Oasis over the touristy Roland Garros restaurant next door.

The most terrible hotel that i have ever visited, I reccomend Hotel.Com not offer this property for rental I walked out without staying a night and they charge for the night. I went to Mercure which was amazing place Dont stay there

Descente aux enfers !!

Sur 3 nuitées, nous avons changé 3 fois de chambre. La première chambre était très bruyante ( bruits de rue ) et absence de taie d'oreillé, la seconde panne d'électricité avec un début d'incendie dans la colonne technique de la chambre ou de l'eau coulait comme une cascade. Par contre, je remercie le personnel technique efficace et sympathique contrairement à la direction qui ne s'est même pas présenté pour s'excuser. A l'heure de la rédaction de ce message, j'apprends que l’hôtel est en passe de fermeture administrative. Bref, c'est scandaleux.
