Warning: no WiFi or cell service. We weren’t aware and that fact should be made upfront to potential customers! We came for my birthday and paid extra for the “luxury 2 bedroom” cabin/condo which advertised jet tub and fireplace (that’s what sold me) Our fireplace wasn’t working (we informed staff as told maintenance would be informed and would come fix) however nothing was done. The tub experience was worse: absolutely disgusting!! The jet/tub wasn’t cleaned/treated/disinfected/sanitized and nastiness came out of the jets while I was bathing!! Again staff were notified and we were told someone would take care of it, but nothing! The rooms had mold, floors hadn’t been properly cleaned, there were bugs (alive and dead) in the bathroom, and there were cigarette butts all around the front porch. Upon check-out we mentioned our terrible experience to staff and they said best they could do is give us $40 refund for our stay :(

Room was clean, views were amazing! But I can’t say the same about the bathroom. The sink still had old toothpaste in them and on the nozzles. So we ended up cleaning the bathroom sink and counters ourselves. But other than that, check in was easy, the ocean view is gorgeous. There was no tv in our room. But the background noise from the ocean waves was beautiful. I’ll come here again.

This property has so much potential to be amazing but I would not recommend it. The upkeep/maintenance is severely lacking. There were many things in our unit that didn’t work or needed repair. The mold in the bathroom being the biggest problem. The smell would hit you like a wall every time you went into it, very overpowering. The toilet had a leak. The water from this leak would seep underneath the base of the toilet because there was no caulking. I’m guessing that this had been going on for a long time and the wood flooring under the tile was likely very moldy. Some of the grout lines between the tiles were constantly moist. The caulking around the base of the shower was completely contaminated with mold. This sort of thing takes time to develop and is clearly visible. This, among other things in our ‘Luxury suite’, leads me to believe that maintenance would be minimal throughout the resort. I’m an Airline pilot and have stayed over 100 nights per year in hotels for over 20 years. The maintenance at this resort is well below acceptable. I couldn’t wait to leave because I don’t think breathing that moldy air was safe. It’s a shame because the nature and beauty surrounding the resort is amazing. I ran out of allowable characters to list all the other deficiencies. I hope this information helps.

Great location, decent ameneties. Be ready for zero wi-fi available except at the Office. Our gas fireplace did not work and the lighting is bright florescent l.e.d. bulbs. The bathtub is fun but the shower head leaves you confused.. in the end your still blown away by the beach proximity.

Staff were very friendly. We arrived after hours and they still made it easy to check in. The cabin was amazing. Views were amazing. Great little vacation place on the beach. If you want a tub overlooking the water you have to call and specify.
