Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We picked this hotel because it is close to UNMC where our family member was in the hospital . Embassy has always offered everything we needed during... Safe parking, on site cooked to order breakfast , evening cocktails and reception. Larger rooms with comfortable, clean beds. Mini fridge, microwave & wet bar.
That is NOT what we got here 👎
Parking was $30 a night and the extremely rude attendant accused me of trying to not pay ... Their new app was not working and he said... " I know what you're trying to do, you're not getting your keys until you pay" then back peddled when he figures out HIS mistake... but did not apologize. We upgraded our room but it was rather small! Fridge didn't work, carpets were dirty, bathroom floor was not mopped, shower wouldn't drain & the toilet didn't flush. Furnishings were worn and needed replacement.
Sadley ,being that we were there visiting a sick relative at UNMC , I didn't have time to address any of these things at the moment.
Breakfast was very subpar foods that weren't prepared well . Dining room seating was so stained, I chose to stand !
Cocktails & reception...Gross communal bowls of goldfish, pretzels & chips. A big bucket of ranch dip , old carrots and brown broccoli. We passed!
Everything was a huge letdown and disappointment.
If you're expecting all the amenities they offer, you might look into another hotel.
